The apartment is in a small boutique block of six apartments and one penthouse. It is modern, well appointed and has a full kitchen, laundry and three bathrooms. It is 92 square metres in size. 10 ft ceilings give a feeling of luxury and space.

The apartment is very well equipped with two bedrooms (each with their own full en-suite), a powder room, a complete kitchen, a full laundry (front loader and dryer), ironing board and iron, a dining area and a spacious living area. there is also a fold out stretcher which can be placed in the lounge for an extra bed.It has a balcony with small BBQ and outdoor table and chairs which gives you glimpses across Port Phillip Bay to Williamstown and a neighboring apartment block. The apartment is fully equipped with electrical appliances, plenty of comfy furniture (including leather lounge suite). You can securely park two cars in the basement.
The apartment is on the top (second) floor of the building and located at the rear away from traffic noise and is serviced by an elevator.
There are two TV's (one a 55 in flat screen) with BluRay DVD and a selection of DVDs and CDs. The master bedroom has a wall mounted flat screen TV as well. Each bedroom has its own split system, reverse cycle air conditioning system and there is a third inverter split system in the lounge. Climate control at your fingertips.
The location of the apartment is the best. It is across the road from the iconic and very beautiful Elwood Beach . There are many beautiful circular walks you can make right from the house, without the need to drive anywhere. The foreshore has a lovely free BBQ area and a children's playground and the beach is safe and sandy. The famous Bay Trail bike path and the much used promenade are a great feature. The foreshore also has restaurants and coffee bars.
The lovely cafes and restaurants of Elwood village are a short 3 minute walk away and the much visited Acland St / Luna Park / Albert Park / Fitzroy St and St Kilda pier are just 15 minutes walk away or two minutes on the bus.
The Melbourne CBD, MCG, Etihad Stadium, South Melbourne Market, Chapel St, The Arts centre, Grand Prix track and Port Melbourne are all just 15-30 minutes away, whether you drive or use public transport.
The beds are comfy and they consist of one queen and one double. Each bedroom has its own full ensuite. There is also a single trundle bed that you could roll out into the lounge room. We can provide you with a stroller, high chair and porta-cot if you have a little one. In addition there is a powder room for guests. Sheets, pillowcases, bath and beach towels are provided.

1.There is a visitor's car parking pass on the fridge door. This allows you to park in adjoining streets all day (read the rear of the pass). Display on your dashboard and be sure to return to fridge before departure. It is expensive ($250) to replace. This is of course, in addition to the two parks in the basement.
2.There is a ducted vacuum system. The hose is in the laundry cupboard and the outlet is beside the laundry door in the dining area.
3.We suggest you leave one set of keys in the key safe as it is easy to lock keys inside the apartment. The call out fee for lost or locked in keys is $200.
4.Please be sure to leave your keys in the safe before you leave. Tumble the numbers always.
5.There is a stretcher and a single mattress in the cupboard if you have an extra guest.
6.Rubbish is deposited in the bins beside the walkway into the building.
7.There is a small step ladder in the cupboard by the front door if you have trouble reaching high places!

2.Nearest Trauma and Emergency hospital is the Alfred at 55 Commercial Rd South (website hidden): (phone number hidden).Emergency number for Police, Fire and Ambulance is 000.
4.Nearest supermarket: Foodworks at 109 Ormond Rd Elwood (Go right at Turtle Café). Large Coles and Woolworths in Acland (website hidden) Kilda or Glenhuntly Rd Elsternwick.
5.Buy your MYKI public transport pass at the 7/11 in Glenhuntly Rd.
6.The bus stops are in Barkly St, just over Glenhuntly Rd. The stop on the same side of the road as our building will take you to Elsternwick Station (to CBD) in 5 minutes and on the other side to Acland St Light Rail (to CBD, Southern Cross Rail, Etihad Stadium, MSAC) in 3 minutes and then on to the MCG, Rod Laver arena and AIMI centre. Which one you choose will depend on what part of town you want to get to. The train takes you through the city loop and the light rail goes right up Bourke St.
7.Plenty of restaurants, bakery, chemist etc. just 300 metres down Glenhuntly Rd.
8.There is a flexicar rental site beside St Columba's Church in Normandy St just down Glenhuntly Rd ((website hidden))
Local things to do and see:
1.Visit the beach and go for a walk in both directions. Walk some of the lovely Elwood Streets.
2.The Melbourne bike share scheme has a station at Luna Park in St Kilda. Cheap and great to go for a ride into the City, Port Melbourne or Brighton. ((website hidden))
3.Esplanade St Kilda market on Sundays. Elwood Farmers market second Saturday of the month at Elwood College in Glenhuntly Rd.
4.Movies at the Classic in Elsternwick
(website hidden) the sun go down over the water at Point Ormond across the road.
6.If the weather is blowy, take a walk along the Elster Creek (also known as the Elwood Canal) from its entrance into the sea right into Elsternwick Park.
7.Have a laugh at Luna Park. The kids love it there.
8.Have a BBQ in the park foreshore over the road
9.Enjoy excellent coffees at Turtle Café, Pizzas at Euro Pizza and Fish and Chips at Old Captain in Glenhuntly Rd.
10.The Elwood Lounge in Glenhuntly Rd is a very neat hangout. Live music, great but cheap food and good drinks.
11.Our favourite restaurant is the Dining Haul in Ormond Rd.
12.Take a coffee and a snack on the foreshore at the Rotunda Café just south along the beach.
13.Play tennis or golf about 1 km along Glenhuntly Rd.

1.Ormond Rd in Elwood (turn right at Turtle Café and walk about 400 metres) is a delightful combination of utilities, dress shops, personal services and restaurants.
2.Acland St., St Kilda is an enjoyable hub of quirky shops, restaurants and bars. It is famous for its continental cake shops and worth a visit just to look in the windows.
3.Glenhuntly Rd Elsternwick is a strip shopping centre with lots of great Op Shops, restaurants and most of the larger stores.
4.If you want the Mall experience then the southbound bus in Ormond Rd will take you to Southland.
5.The Melbourne CBD has large department stores such as Myer and David Jones. Catch the 96 light rail on the corner of Barkly St and Acland St.
6.The South Melbourne market (No 96 light rail) is a fabulous shopping precinct with great atmosphere and quality foods and goods.
