Good to Know

MINIMUM STAYS:

This apartment generally has a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Bookings made well in advance have longer minimum stays.

Lower rates are available for longer bookings, and for stays that are booked well in advance.

Long-term stays are also welcome.

Pets are allowed in many of our properties, as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings.

We require a minimum security bond of $1,500, which will be pre-authorised not charged to your credit card several days before your arrival and released back automatically by your bank after your departure subject to damage check. For much longer stays or other reasons, this amount may change and the bond will be deducted instead of pre-authorised. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.

All tea, coffee, toiletries, washing and cleaning products and other welcome supplies can be found in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. You will need to purchase more of these consumables if you need them for the rest of your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: For your added security, this property is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts.

GUEST INTERACTION

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We generally check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:

6:00am - 9:30am & 6:00pm - 9:00pm will be charged at $25.00; 9:00pm - 6am will be charged at $60.00

Very early check-in can only be secured well in advance by either booking the night before, or by paying an extra half-day rate; depending on the time of arrival.

StayCentral on Mt Alexander Road is so close to so many things of interest in the area nearby as well as the nearby CBD. Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy drive or a quick tram ride away:

Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river

Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The river cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.
