Our charming Bayside family home is full of features and comfort that makes it the perfect home for medium to long term stays.
The home features 3 bedrooms, all with built in robes. The front 2 double bedrooms overlook the landscaped, leafy and private, fenced front garden. So calming to wake up to birds in the trees
There’s a central bathroom with gorgeous cedar walls and ceiling and huge spa bath that makes you feel like you’re in a country spa cottage There’s also a 2nd toilet in the living end of the house off the roomy laundry which has lots of storage and F&P washing machine.
There are 2 lounge rooms, a more formal sitting room complete with warming gas log fireplace and huge, comfy art-deco lounge suites.
The living area is the heart of this bayside charmer with a huge open plan kitchen, dining, lounge room filled with gorgeous natural light from a wall of glass windows overlooking a lush garden with above-ground veggie planters. There’s nothing like making your dinner from veggies, salad and herbs grown right in your back yard. Perfect space for children to learn all about where their food comes from
Kitchen is newly renovated with new electric oven and gas cooktop along with stainless steel dishwasher and 1.5 sinks. Big pantry and plenty of storage space keeps the kitchen bench clear for casual eating with room for at least 4 at the counter.
Dining area has a study nook where you can keep an eye on the kids whilst they’re on the internet - the house is fully cabled for ADSL.
The lounge overlooks the spacious back yard and the wrap around deck covered by a bullnose roof. This area is really Bayside living in the warmer months. The back yard is fully fenced so the kids are safe to play. There’s even room for small pets
The 3rd bedroom is off the living area, perfect for a child’s room or nursery or even a study or home office with an entry from the rear of the house for those who work from home and need privacy.
With polished boards and slate flooring throughout, it’s a breeze to keep clean. Centrally heated in every room with an aircon in the living area and awnings keep the sun out and the house cool at the front of the house in the summer. There are stunning stained glass features throughout.
There is car parking in the drive for 2 cars and access to a 2 car size garage for some storage to be negotiated.
House is either fully or partially furnished and can be configured to best suit your needs with queen size beds, double bed bunks or singles as needed. Everything will be here for bring your clothes
The area is a haven for families and professionals. There’s a bus at the top of the street, Highett train station 15 mins walk away, 2 parks within 3 mins walk, schools everywhere. And then there’s Highett Village, a thriving spot with cafes, restaurants, a fabulous bar, huge modern supermarket complex and everything you need in walking distance. There is an Aldi, Coles and Woolies all within a couple mins walk/drive. Hop in the car for a 5 minute drive to Southland Shopping Centre Or take a leisurely 15 min stroll straight to Sandringham beach.
PLEASE NOTE; We are only taking bookings for stays of a 3 month minimum. We are currently still renovating and landscaping so the house is spick and span for your arrival from August. More photos will be loaded as each room is finished. Furniture may differ from that pictured.
Small/medium sized pets are welcome. Bigger fur-babies can be discussed. We’re an animal loving family so we’d love to help you keep your furry family close
