Description

Built in 1924 and converted into apartments in 2001, this apartment is a great city base for all. If your here to explore the best of what Melbourne has to offer or just relax and unwind, this location is perfect.

The open plan living area offers loads of natural light, modern kitchen with European appliances and 6 seater dining table. The main bedroom contains a luxurious king-size bed. The study contains a unique fold down double bed. The main bathroom has direct access to the master bedroom.

The bedding configuration in the master bedroom is standard as 1 king bed but can be changed to two king single beds on request. If you are two guests and require use of the fold down study bed, there is an additional $60.00 charge.

Entry to the property is via a personal meet & greet with The Concierge Aust.

Arrivals between 9:30am-6:00pm will incur no additional charge. Arrivals between 6am-9:30am & 6:00pm-10:30pm will be charged an additional $20.00. Arrivals between 10:30pm-6am will be charged an additional $50.00. Additional charges are to be paid in cash on arrival.

An email will be sent to the guests personal email within 48 hours of arrival with specific instructions. We do require the guest to contact us when 30 minutes away so we can meet them at the property on time.

A valid credit card with photo ID in the card holders name is required on arrival to cover any incidental charges.

The apartment is fully self contained with the only common areas being the foyer of the building. The Concierge Aust is not based at the building so there is not additional guest interaction after the guests arrival.

Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and guest amenities are offered on all properties managed by THE CONCIERGE Aust.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions:

•Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

•Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

•Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

•Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10.00am Dishes should be cleaned and rubbish removed. The tenant is obliged to take care of the flat and look after it and is obliged to keep the accommodation in the same condition as found on arrival. Furthermore, the tenant is obliged to compensate for any damage or loss occurring in the accommodation due to his own fault or the fault of accompanying persons. To avoid additional cleaning charges dishes should be cleaned properly including grease build up and burns on pans. Excess food & rubbish should be disposed of. A replacement fee will be charged for towels stained by hair dyes, bleaches, tanning & make up and greasy burnt saucepans. Finger prints and food spillages caused by infants must be cleaned also. Please note that there is no need to clean bed linen or towels as these will be professionally laundered. Keys may be left in the apartment or returned personally by arrangement. Guests will be charged $170.00 if keys are not returned.

•Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

•Pets are allowed with prior notice.

•Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.

•No smoking is allowed in the building

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect spot, comfortable accommodation Please be aware, the $170 for the keys, that is noted in the description, requires you to provide your credit card details when you arrive. This is not stated and it really upset the start of our holiday. Even though you have provided a $300 security bond, Concierge, the property managers, will want your credit card details again. Also, the stone coffee table was broken, which I pointed out, the rug in the main bedroom was stained and ripped, again I pointed this out. Also the back deck is rickety, the timber is overdue for replacing, it's was not comfortable to walk on. I did comment all of the above to concierge, they do not care as I did not receive any response. Aside from this the apartment was lovely, it was comfortable, secure, convenient, and very home like. With a tiny bit of TLC it would be amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and relaxing property We really liked our stay. The location was perfect and it was nice and spacious, had lovely view fro the main bedroom balcony. If you are staying in the study be aware the sliding door to the living room is a little hard to open from the inside. And make sure you bring lots of warm clothes because it can take some time to heat up. All in all we loved our stay.

It was so central with an easy walk to most places in the city. It was very quiet & had everything we needed. Ben & the team were great, nothing was too much trouble. Will stay agin for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Melbourne Apartment! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is stylish, well appointed and very well located. The beds were comfortable, and the building was lovely and quiet, providing an oasis away from the bustle. Our host was punctual and ensured that we had everything we needed, and the pricing was very competitive. I would definitely stay here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply 'wow' I was attracted to this apartment by its stunning decoration, and this did not disappoint. It was, however, in the location, isolation and livability that the real magic is. It has every necessary amenity - cannot fault the bed, bathroom or kitchen - whether your stay is a few days or weeks. The guestbook is full of advice and information related to a hassle-free stay in Melbourne; The owner was available to answer any and all questions on top of that. Suitably impressed on arrival, and the feeling did not leave until we did.
