Housed on the fourth floor with lift of a stunning art deco building designed by Harry Norris, one of Melbourne's most notable architects, Apartment 401 is a refurbished one bedroom/studio apartment with polished timber floors and large windows overlooking the Flinders Lane/Degraves Street precinct.

The spacious, light filled lounge-dining room looks down on Degraves Street, famous for its coffee bars and eateries. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and a tiny, Parisian style Juliet balcony. Furnishings are an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary pieces from the owners' private collection. There is a fully equipped, stylish kitchen and a large tiled bathroom complete with bathtub. The security entrance and spacious foyer feature original marble stairs and tiling, decorative ironwork and a charming old style lift. Apartment 401, in the famous and much photographed Majorca Building, is the ideal location for a Melbourne apartment. Once the centre of Melbourne's rag trade, Flinders Lane is now the "in" place for stylish loft apartments, intimate bars and superb eateries as well as unique shopping experiences. Flinders Lane is also a premier arts precinct and has Australia's highest concentration of commercial art galleries. As a shopping destination, Flinders Lane is hard to beat.
