Our place is a well-appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the heart of Melbourne's famous street-art laneways, and the city's best restaurant district.
It's in a great location close to Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, the Melbourne Visitor Information Centre, the renowned "Paris End" of Collins Street with its high end shopping, and many of Melbourne's best known theatres and galleries.
It has free parking and unlimited fast wi-fi. We provide complimentary tea and coffee and there is a small supermarket just 50 metres away that is open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm approximately most days.
There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. It is perfect for that romantic getaway, two couples, the business traveler or a small family. There is also a portable baby's cot.
The apartment is equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings. The living and dining areas are designed to be stylish and contemporary, at the same time as being very comfortable and functional.
Hotel quality mattresses and high grade linen ensure a good night's sleep, and double glazing provides a peaceful escape from the sounds of the busy city when needed. There are two beautifully appointed bathrooms, and the north facing balcony provides abundant natural light, and overlooks the iconic ACDC Lane.
The apartment is in one of the best locations in Melbourne. It is just 3 minutes walk to Flinders Street Station and Federation Square, which many people would see as the real centre of Melbourne. The square is a busy, vibrant meeting place, known for its galleries, festivals, music concerts and other performances - much of it free. It is also the starting point for many tours.
The apartment overlooks Flinders Lane - famous for its laneways and street art. However, it is even better known as the district that contains many of Melbourne's best restaurants: Coda; Pastuso; Chin Chin, Tonka; Eau De Vie, The French Brasserie; to name a few. However, it is not only high-end dining - there are plenty of cafe's and other places for a quick bite.
It's a very pleasant 15 minute walk to the MCG or the Tennis Centre via the beautiful Treasury and Fitzroy Gardens.
