The kitchen is fully stainless steel with everything you could possibly need. The laundry is European, with ironing facilities, detergent and serious washing facilities. The bathroom is large, squeaky clean and fully stocked. The couch is feather and damask and ready to sink into. The library is good for a quiet weekend in. There are magazines, maps, flat screen TV, north facing windows, and a seafood restaurant outside the door that will bring dinner to you if you never want to leave.
There is a stock of clean towels, body and hand wash, and shampoo and conditioner for you to use, plus a cabinet full of toothpaste, makeup remover, moisturiser, some hair products, tampons, condoms, etc, in case you've forgotten an essential. The kitchen has everything you'll want for cooking meals; a full sized oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer, pots and pans, utensils, and a pantry with some staples. Don't plan too much cooking though - you're staying in the middle of Melbourne There is a Nespresso coffee machine and pods, a brimming bowl of coffee sachets, tea bags, hot chocolate chai, etc, on the bench, some cereals and snacks in the pantry, and fresh milk, butter, filtered water and a sneaky wine in the fridge. There is a full laundry. There is a Juliet balcony to enjoy the northern sunshine.
Please note the bed configuration is one Miracoil pillow top bed ensemble in the separate bedroom. A third guest can sleep on the auto-inflate air-bed in the lounge area, which will be have made up for you with quality linen, donnas, etc, if you are a threesome. If you are travelling as a pair and require separate beds please contact me for pricing.
If you are arriving on Skybus from the airport, you will be dropped at Southern Cross Station. Take a free Hotel Shuttle and ask to be dropped at The Town Hall, or The Adara Hotel, and you'll be right opposite the front door. If there's a wait for a shuttle at Southern Cross, you can take any Collins Street tram free and alight at 'Town Hall, Stop 6' and you are very close to the apartment.
Once you're here, you are steps from the free trams along both Collins and Swanston Streets, so can go anywhere Trains require a Myki card, which I can leave for you, and explain how to use. All the City Loop train stations are walking distance from the apartment.
There are various public carparks within a block of the apartment. Please ask for directions and prices if you really have to bring your car, as it's very expensive to park in such a central location, and a car is a very slow way to move about the city.
