This gorgeous 2BR apartment caters for 4-6 guests with flexible bedding arrangements. Perfect for families, couples/ singles, small groups or corporate stay.

A BRAND NEW KITCHEN HAS JUST BEEN INSTALLED INTO THE APARTMENT as well as brand new sofas and dining table/chairs - updated photos to be posted soon!!

The apartment can sleep a maximum of 6 guests.

The Inner City Garden Apartment is a beautiful apartment in an incredible location on the City Fringe.

The majority of Melbourne's popular tourist activities are within walking distance. To venture further, Melbourne's famous tram network can be accessed within a 5 minute walk, including the FREE City Circle Tram. Melbourne Central is the closest train station also within a 5 minute walk.


In the heart of Carlton, almost at your doorstep is the cosmopolitan, tree lined Lygon Street precinct; renowned for its fashionable cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping.

Within 5 minutes walk, visit the beautiful Carlton Gardens (including children's playground, basketball court and tennis courts), the Melbourne Museum, Imax 3D Cinema, Royal Exhibition Buildings, Old Melbourne Gaol, or jump on the FREE Melbourne City Loop Tourist Tram.

Walk or catch a tram into the City Centre, including a visit to Federation Square.

Walk east through the Carlton Gardens to Gertrude and Brunswick Streets Fitzroy, well known for their eclectic and boutique shopping.

Walk west to the Queen Victoria Market.

A longer walk can even take you to Melbourne's sporting and entertainment precinct including the MCG and Tennis Centre.


The Inner City Garden Apartment is set amongst tranquil communal gardens. The stylish, modern apartment is maintained to an immaculate standard, complemented by beautiful furnishings and luxury linen and towels. The apartment is professionally cleaned between stays. All linen is also professionally laundered. Secondary glazed windows ensure that the apartment is quiet and peaceful.


The apartment boasts open plan living/ dining/kitchen area, dining facilities for 6, fridge/ freezer, microwave, oven/ hob, flat screen television and DVD player.

A central bathroom has a shower over a bath and laundry facilities including washing machine/ dryer.

Each bedroom has built in robes and balconies with City Views.

The apartment has great heating facilities, as well as a ceiling fan and portable evaporative cooling unit. The secondary glazed windows and garden area ensures that the apartment remains cool in summer. They also ensure that the apartment maintains heat during winter.

A portacot and high chair are available for no charge.

1 complimentary undercover car park is available (max height 2m). A second car park can also be arranged for a small cost, if needed.

Note that the apartment is strictly non smoking, and no pets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Location The Inner City Garden Appartment is in a great location for a fabulous stay in Melbourne. Not right in the heart of it all but only a short stroll away. The famous Laigon St however is just around the corner boasting an array of fine dinning and cafe experiences. The Appartment complex is secure and quiet as well as being easily accessible. Celia was a very gracious host and did everything to accomodate our needs. She communicated with efficiency and provided us with some local knowledge which helped us out of towners. The Appartment itself has everything you need and is presented very well indeed, it is both spacious and comfortable. Would I stay here again........absolutely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb position I highly recommend this inner city apartment. It is in close proximity to many of Melbourne's tourist attractions. The unit itself was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I would most certainly stay there again when visiting Melbourne..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet calm so close to the city Comfortable, clean and calm with a lovely courtyard! A peaceful garden so close to the hustle and bustle. It was an easy walk to the Victoria markets and to Collins st. Trams nearby made docklands easily accessible too. Great undercover parking. We would love to stay again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What We Expected First, let me say that we are professional couple and have traveled the world and stayed many places. We have come to expect a lot and do our research before we pick a place to stay. We chose this because of location, but also because of the reviews on Stayz. Property location is great! Walking distance to Lygon Street with restaurants and grocery close by. At first glance the property seems okay, but after closer inspection you can see that it needs a thorough clean and there needs to be more attention to detail on how it is made up. Specifically, the bathroom needs a good cleaning. There is visible mold in the shower and the walls in the toilet have dust, hair and are just dirty. Also, the water pressure in the shower was awful. Did bring this to the attention of the property manager and she was going to fix after we left. There was a stain on the king size fitted sheet the one extra bed pillow had no pillow case. The ironing board cover was stained as well. The wallboards/baseboards need a clean. Lastly, the portable A/C unit did not cool very effectively. Basically, as stated before, this property needs a thorough clean. Secure parking was great, but the key controller was taped together and we had to wait several minutes for gate to open. This would have been a great place to stay if it was clean. Did not live up to our expectations.
