In the heart of Carlton, almost at your doorstep is the cosmopolitan, tree lined Lygon Street precinct; renowned for its fashionable cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping.
Within 5 minutes walk, visit the beautiful Carlton Gardens (including children's playground, basketball court and tennis courts), the Melbourne Museum, Imax 3D Cinema, Royal Exhibition Buildings, Old Melbourne Gaol, or jump on the FREE Melbourne City Loop Tourist Tram.
Walk or catch a tram into the City Centre, including a visit to Federation Square.
