We take our feedback from our guest very seriously and therefore always reinvesting back into our beloved cottage. We have just recently purchased new beds, bedheads, a large kitchen workstation, new pots & pans, lighting, pendants! We now also have a microwave.

This gorgeous circa 1910 Heritage Overlay Workman's cottage depicts Prahran's cottaged lined quant streets, whilst positioned in a mega stylish neighbourhood WITH heaps of action on every side!
You are a short walking distance to Hawksburn Village on Malvern Road (the best pasta is served at Cafe Latte), with stylish boutiques both on Malvern road along with Chemists, Bookstores, Australia Post and a Safeway supermarket.
An even quicker walk is High Street, another iconic Prahran strip that offers stylish Boutiques in fashion and interiors (a visit to Fenton & Fenton is a must!). High street also has day time eateries, evening Restaurants, Bars & Pubs + your daily needs like an Australia Post post office & an 7 day chemist that is open from 9am - 12 midnight.

Situated at the back of the house, it faces the outdoor backyard with two massive glass sliding door giving the room its own private access.

Open living room with large custom design couch and large LCD TV (with USB PORT) with FOXTEL (half package). The room also has a gorgeous original decorative fireplace & a stunning COCO Flip pendant by local Melbourne Industrial designer, Kate Stokes.
This room is filled with our beloved Art, Design, Photography, Architecture & Interior design books. We welcome you to enjoy them, please ensure all books are returned to ensure no loss in bond.

The kitchen and dining is open plan (and leads to the living room.) A great space to be in!
The kitchen is appointed with gas hotplate, electric oven and fridge.
The dining table sits 4 people comfortably and can also extend out. Please note there are only 4 dining chairs.
The outdoors pace also has a built in BBQ + a clothes line on the courtyard side.
The bathroom has a large shower & massive vanity + WC. Bathroom also includes a laundry with a washing machine and dryer.
The open living room/ Dining+Kitchen has a split system air conditioning unit.
Linen is included. Both bed have a queen size doonas and 2 pillows.
As with all private holiday homes guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy as per your arrival. Excess cleaning will be deducted from your bond at the rate of $75 per hour.
All standard garbage must be left in a plastic bag and left in the outside garbage bins.
Any large item excess rubbish must be taken with you or contact us to arrange for excess garbage to be taken away.
As a courtesy to the owners and next guests please do not vacate without taking care of excess rubbish.
Bins are to be left on the curb Monday night for a Tuesday morning collection.
NO PARTY CLAUSE:
We welcome groups of friends to the house and hope that you enjoy your stay however we do not permit the use of the house for parties and functions.
STRICTLY NO USE OF DECORATIVE FIREPLACES:
Both fireplaces are decorative only, therefore will cause a house fire to occur if used. Strictly NO USE OF THE FIREPLACES.
