You will be on the ground floor of a 3 storey warehouse with separate entrance in an awesome location. Free large undercover garage included, height allowance 234 cms / 7'8". Free unlimited WiFi available. The open plan apartment is very spacious and is self contained with a very comfortable queen size bed with electric blanket and a large sofa lounge which can be converted to a very comfortable double bed. There are two degrees of block-out blinds on the window so you can sleep-in to your heart's content. Hydroponic under floor heating and mounted wall heaters will keep you warm and comfortable in the cooler months. There is a Split System Air Conditioner/Heater and an oscillating fan. There is a small kitchen area no stove with a large table setting, fridge, electric frypan/skillet, kettle, coffee percolator, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board. The separate bathroom ensuite consists of a shower with laundry and toilet facilities and strip heater. MOR toiletries are provided. Guests have access to the laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer and there is a European suspended clothes line available in the bathroom/laundry ensuite. Laundry detergent and fabric softener supplied. Hair dryer, shampoo, hair conditioner and soap provided. ELECTRIC CARS: Easy access to power outlets in garage to charge electric cars. You will find an Information folder which includes Wifi information, detailed description of the local guidebook, etc. All crockery and cutlery are supplied along with beautiful sheets and towels and a range of pillows for your preference. All bed linen, bath towels, pillows, and doonas duvets/comforters are provided. Cereals, milk, coffee, large selection of tea varities, tim tams and dry biscuits, fruit bowl & condiments are supplied. 90cms HD flat screen TV/DVD, DVD player and DVD's, cassette player and CD's are provided for your relaxation. Children are catered for: 2 child's porta cots, 2 high chairs, 2 baby car seats, one booster seat and one stroller available. You will feel extremely comfortable in your open plan, self contained, heated / air conditioned warehouse apartment in an awesome location with Melbourne's coffee and restaurant culture at your doorstep. This apartment is ideal for 2 guests. Extra guests can be accommodated on the large sofa lounge which can be converted to a comfortable double bed. Any persons over 12 will incur our standard per night fee of $25 per person. Children under 12 are free.
We share a common front door and foyer. We live upstairs and guests have exclusive use of the ground floor apartment and garage during your stay.
We will meet and greet our guests whenever possible but I can also leave keys in the key lock which is located on the front door. I will send you instructions for the key lock before your arrival if required. We have created a Guest Information Folder which is filled with local restaurants, supermarkets, liquor shops, tourist attractions and our favourite things to do in Southbank and the CBD. During your stay we are available anytime by text or phone to answer any queries you might have.

Southbank is Melbourne's bustling waterfront hub, which is renowned for restaurants, public art and stylish retailers. The area is extremely popular for its excellent restaurants and cafes, heritage homes, lovely gastro pubs and beautiful nearby city beaches of Port Melbourne, South Melbourne and St Kilda. It's a short stroll to the CBD, Southbank, Crown Casino, The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, MCG, Albert Park, Ethiad Stadium, South Melbourne Market, DFO South Wharf shopping, the Art Precinct, the Melbourne Aquarium and Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. The Crown Casino complex has Melbourne's best selection of fine dining and casual dining restaurants. There is also a cinema complex and high-end shops within Crown Casino. There are numerous excellent cafes, restaurants, gastro pubs and coffee shops and four supermarkets and liquor shops within 3-8 minutes walk. The City of Melbourne is perfectly planned to make walking around the streets and lane ways an absolutely delightful experience. From the apartment you could walk to any area of the CBD but you can also hop on a tram. We supply the apartment with Myki public transport cards but it's guests responsibility to ensure they are topped up to use and cards can be topped up at any 7/11 shops or CBD trams stops. Myki cards are needed to travel anywhere on trams, trains and buses apart from the Free City Tram Zone in the CBD and Docklands. Please leave them for other guests on departure. One block to No 12 tram takes you to Albert Park Grand Prix, St Kilda Beach and South Melbourne Beach or through the CBD to Fitzroy in the other direction. Two block to No 96 tram to Acland Street St Kilda or East Brunswick through the CBD. The No 1 tram which can be accessed in Clarendon Street goes past the Arts Precinct to East Coburg or in the other direction to South Melbourne beach. There are buses which run along City Road to various destinations and all this information is provided for you when you arrive. You can hire bikes from bike stations which are located on streets all around Southbank, South Melbourne, St Kilda, etc
