Cobden Cottage is located just a short walk to the main street in South Melbourne; Clarendon Street.
The cottage is positioned on a tree lined street which has a heritage overlay ensuring the beautiful historic character of the area is maintained.
The cottage is walking distance to a variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shopping and trams. The cottage is also walking distance to the South Melbourne market, Aquarium, City Centre, Beach, Casino, National Art Gallery, Botanical Gardens and Albert Park Lake. The MCG, Rod Laver Arena and Sidney Myer Music Bowl are also within a longer 30-45 minute walk.
South Melbourne is serviced by trams. There are numerous trams 600m from the cottage. Flinder's street is the closest train station which can be accessed via a tram or a 30 min walk.

Nearby is the upmarket Clarendon street and Coventry street; renowned for their fashionable cafes, restaurants, pubs, homewares shopping and the famous South Melbourne Market.
Walk or catch a tram into the City Centre, South Melbourne market, Aquarium, Beach, Casino, National Art Gallery, Botanical Gardens or Albert Park Lake.
Take a longer walk or tram to Melbourne's famous sporting and entertainment precinct including the MCG and Rod Laver Arena. Here you can watch an Australian Rules Football game, cricket match, the Australian Tennis Open or a music concert.
Enjoy multiple children's playgrounds in the area and take a visit to Luna Park.

The stylish, modern and compact cottage, with a brand new kitchen and bathrooms, is maintained to an immaculate standard, complemented by beautiful furnishings and luxury linen and towels. The cottage is professionally cleaned between stays, and all linen is professionally laundered.
The cottage boasts open plan living/ dining/kitchen area, which opens out onto a decent sized courtyard with a BBQ, and large outdoor setting for 7 people. Indoors, the compact living area includes a dining table against a wall which can be brought into the centre of the lounge and expanded for 4 adults. The coffee table is perfect for kids meals. The kitchen includes a fridge/ freezer, microwave, oven/ hob, toaster/kettle, flat screen television and DVD player. The bathrooms include a shower, bath and laundry facilities including washing machine/ dryer and ironing facilities.
The cottage has a split system heating/ air conditioning unit as well as wall heaters and ceiling fans.
A portacot and high chair are available at no charge.
Unlimited high speed wifi is available for $3 per day.
A permit for street parking for 1 car is available for $3 per day. Parking for a second car can be arranged - please inquire.
