Interaction with Guests
My interaction with guest will generally be nil as I live in Noosa Heads, Qld.
My urban assistant, the lovely Edwina will welcome you, hand over the keys, WiFi modem and P/W and will collect same upon your departure. Be aware free WiFi only extends to email and banking use. No downloads of movies, games or work-related activities. Woolies has free WiFi also and has provided tables and chairs outside their front door inside the building for this use but speed is somewhat slow.
I love the hustle and bustle of Toorak Road and the fantastic shopping in Chapel Street:
the up-market Como Center with its cinemas, coffee shops, restaurants and the cosmopolitan ambience. There is a special, direct entrance into the
Como Centre. When you enter the Woolies special complex by taking our lift to Fl1, then walk the length of the floor to the lift to Woolies carpark, descend the steps behind these lifts to a lovely shady garden, walk the length of this secluded space and to your left is a glass door which takes you into the Como building, just below the cinemas which are accessed by a short escalator ride up. Good hunting There are bargains to be had at the gift shop at the bottom of the escalator
The easy transport options to the CBD or suburbs, are great . You don't need a car and worry about where to park, not to mention the cost of parking. We have Uber now in Melbourne, which may be an alternative to expensive cabs.
Other Things to Note
The concierge is usually helpful,
There is a small room to the right of the lifts for garbage. There is a shute and two bins for paper, glass/plastics.
You don't need your swipe key to go to the ground floor but any other floor and to access amenities you need to swipe your key.
The intercom inside the apartment will allow your guests entry and lift access at the press of the button
Edwina has her key and my son Dr Mark Sinclair has a spare swipe key in case of emergencies.
My son, Dr Mark Sinclair, lives 5 mins walk away and has spare key for emergencies.
Now all you have to do is come, stay, chillax and ENJOY.
