St Kilda East is a great spot for dining out, and is only a short tram ride or a pleasant walk away from St Kilda proper - its beaches, Luna Park, entertainment and nightlife. Close to trams, trains, and a park with a children's playground.
St Kilda East is but a short tram hop away from the famous St Kilda Beach and Albert Park think, first round of Formula 1 GP. While the house is on a quiet residential street, 10 minutes one way takes you to Balaclava Rd, which is full of cafes, restaurants and boutiques; 10 minutes in another direction takes you to Chapel St with its bonanza of shops, restaurants, and clubs. For the quiet-minded, there's a wonderful park a block away, with BBQs and a massive kids playground. The Astor Theater one of the last historic cinemas in Melbourne is, also, just 10 minutes away.
Access to the single undercover carpark is not included as part of standard booking, however can be arranged for an extra fee. Car parking on the street is free and unlimited.
