Emilia House is Victorian house in the Italianate architectural style. It was built in 1882, after two years of construction. Emilia House is a happy home and has enjoyed a wonderful, interesting history. It was originally built by the local Surrey Hills governing authority and was used for a range of community purposes.

Surrey Hills and Mont Albert train stations are a 10 minute walk away. Mont Albert Village where you will find an IGA supermarket, grocer, bakery, butcher, hairdresser, beauty salons, florist, post office, ATM and cafes is also a pleasant 10 minute walk.
There is a child’s playground on Windsor Crescent, at the end of Tower Street. For a larger playground and other activities, a 10 minute walk over to the other side of Elgar Road Standard Avenue is Surrey Park, where you will find a football ground, baseball pitch, playground and lovely lake with barbeque facilities. Aqualink is next door, which offers a full gymnasium, fitness classes, swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts and other amenities.
Parking on the street is unlimited and you will not need a permit.
