Description

Number 38a Anderson Street is a spacious fully-furnished serviced apartment located above a shop right in the heart of the thriving Yarraville village and within easy reach by car or public transport of the Melbourne city centre. Buses and the railway station are only steps away from the door. There is even a garage to provide off-street parking for a small to medium-sized car. Entry is from Canterbury St at ground level and there is a laundry area, lobby and downstairs living area from which stairs rise to the upstairs living area, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, extra toilet, bedrooms and outdoor terrace with city views.

The apartment has the ability to sleep up to 8 adults. There are 3 full-sized bedrooms; the sunny front bedroom which overlooks Anderson Street contains a queen size bed, the second bedroom contains two single beds and the third contains a double bed. All bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. A portacot is available. The lounge-room downstairs also features a double sofa bed.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, large refrigerator, coffee machine and kitchen table. There is also a large dining area overlooking the terrace and containing a table which extends to seat up to 8 people.

The large bathroom contains a shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also an additional toilet. The laundry includes a large washing machine and dryer. Each of the lounge-rooms contains a flat-screen TV and DVD/Blu-ray player. A small selection of films and paperbacks are available and the cosmopolitan terrace has plenty of seating and a BBQ, as well as a sink and bar-fridge just inside the door. An air-conditioner allows for cooling in summer and all of the bedrooms have silent flat-panel heaters for winter warmth. The bedrooms also have brand-new carpets for extra warmth.

Located in the Yarraville village in Melbourne's inner west, 38a Anderson Street is a 30 second walk from Yarraville train station and a five minute drive to the Westgate Freeway, the gateway to the eastern side of Melbourne. Footscray Road is also nearby and will take you straight to Docklands and the city.

Yarraville and Seddon villages have a good range of delightful shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as the stunning art deco Sun Theatre. Yarraville Gardens provide delightful open space and one of many playgrounds dotted around the area. Williamstown historic seaport, which has a ferry to Melbourne’s Southbank precinct among other attractions, is within ten minutes by car. In the other direction lies Footscray with its vibrant mix of cultures including a range of African and Vietnamese eateries.

Yarraville is within easy reach by car or public transport of Melbourne’s many attractions including the Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Aquarium, Flemington Racecourse, the Queen Victoria Markets, Federation Square, ScienceWorks, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Etihad Stadium and surrounding Docklands precinct with its many great restaurants and bars.

We travelled to Melbourne as a family of 7 adults, 3 children and one baby for our daughter's wedding , how can I find the perfect accomodation for us all.? Well, Village Life 3, was everything we wished for, room for us all, play areas for kids along with toys, cots, beds and bedding for us all. Beautifully appointed and a well equipped kitchen, 2 dining rooms and space for us all to be comfortable. One minute walk to the station and surrounded by cafes, a garage for the car. We were one very happy family and a big thank you to Andy for making sure all was as promised, I was relieved.

Much bigger apartment than expected, with a few different zones. It has all that a family would need. Thanks Andy and Karen for everything. Great service. Highly recommended

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Village life 3 We enjoyed our stay very good location, but perhaps the kitchen utensils etc should be checked before new guests arrive ie no chopping boards, perhaps extra dishes salad bowls etc and my daughter said that the quilt cover was dirty in the double room but I still enjoyed our stay
