I am the big house on the waterfront hill in Irvine Parade, Yarrawonga - many people look over at me when crossing the bridge, because, without skiting too much, I am pretty impressive
NEW beds and NEW furniture has arrived, and I am looking very retro, and feeling very comfortable
I offer 3 spacious bedrooms, huge lounge and dining areas and a stunning north facing patio. The kitchen is fully equipped, appliances are in very good working order. The view is 'wow' factor.
That’s right, it is the house talking….I’ve been asked to describe myself, tell people what I am like, and most importantly tell people that I am opening my doors to holiday makers
One thing is for certain, I have character, a big welcoming personality and I am exceptionally good value for money
I was built in the 1970’s, and many of my original features remain, such as the stunning opaque wall papers, décor light and handle fittings, not to mention the bar that has hosted many a famous politician and even a movie star.
I love the natural light that pours through my north facing windows, and the panoramic views of the lake from almost every room, but the best feature is the huge patio which extends freely down to the terraced waterfront gardens.
Just imagine sitting back, in the sunshine, champagne in hand, as hubby cooks the BBQ and the kids play a game of backyard cricket. Aaah the serenity….
Or for the water sports enthusiast, ski all day right from your back door and walk to the clubs at night.
The huge garden of established trees offers great privacy and shade, or a playground and for the kids to play and explore freely. There are welcoming garden seats, perfect spots to simply relax with a great book.
Now at least on one of the mornings you stay, I highly recommend that you wake early to watch the magnificent sunrise over the lake and enjoy a breakfast in bed as the sun’s streams through the master and second bedroom windows. All bedrooms are bright with natural light and offer built in robes.
So to help you plan your stay, and to get to know me in more detail;
I am a large, spacious home with high ceilings and loads of charm. I am very clean and the 70’s style décor is comfortable and homely.
I offer split system heating and cooling in the main social spaces and a cosy gas log fire in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the oven, stove top, dishwasher are all in excellent working order.
the oven is brand new. There is a good sized fridge in the kitchen and a second drinks fridge in the laundry.
NEW plasma TV's in the lounge and sun room. NEW BBQ and outdoor chairs and tables.
There is a double carport, and plenty of room for extra cars, boats and trailers. For the guys - good fishing right at your back door and the ladies, great shopping and cafes all within walking distance.
Master - King and 2 single trundles upon request
Bedroom 2 - Queen and single and additional trundle single upon request
Bedroom 3 - Queen and set of bunks.
Prices are based on 10 guests. Extra guests are twenty five dollars per guest per night.
All quality bed linen and bath towels are required guests need to bring their own beach towels
