From Bass Coast Shire website:
Harmers Haven is a small coastal settlement near Wonthaggi in South Eastern Victoria.
The town is located adjacent to the Harmers Haven William Hovell Flora and Fauna Reserve and the Bunurong Marine Park.
The area has a higher than average number of permanently unoccupied houses and, due to its apparent isolation, is a popular weekend retreat for those wanting serenity.
This land was home to the Boon Wurrung /Bunurong people for thousands of years before European arrival. Their history and culture can be found in middens and artefact scatters.
The linen sheets, pillow cases and quilt covers and towels aren't supplied and must be brought with guests. Can be provided by prior arrangement for fee.
You can leave the house as you find it or pay a fee to cover a basic house clean.
