Cliff Views Retreat is a quiet, comfortable and relaxing escape surrounded by spectacular views. Early risers can catch the spectacular sunrise across the hills from the comfort of the living area and then in the evening the sunset glows from the deck.
Our house is a 3 bedroom home that sleeps 6 people comfortably.
Upstairs includes two bedrooms - one with queen size bed and the second with two single beds. The open plan living area includes split system air conditioner, a meals bench, dining area, kitchen, living area, full bathroom and separate toilet. An elevated deck with a BBQ and seats surrounds the open plan living area and allows for views to the east and the west.
Downstairs is a third bedroom with double bed, second living area with TV, bathroom with shower, and laundry facilities and a separate toilet
There is an undercover car port with space for 2-3 cars.
All bedding is supplied - pillows, doonas, doona covers and blankets including linen, All you need to provide are your own towels.
There is a large TV in both the upstairs and downstairs
Kilcunda includes a sandy beach, rock pools, swimming, fishing or just walking along the beach, where you will discover the original trestle rail bridge. Kilcunda Hotel features great pub food with local atmosphere and more stunning views of the ocean.
There is also the "Kilcunda General Store" offering healthy and wholesome food for breakfast and lunch which you can eat in or take away, some grocery items and newspapers.
The 20 minute walk to Kilcunda features a stop at Shelley Beach a small coastal inlet with rock pools, a sandy beach or a spot of fishing.
The George Bass Coast Walk is 200 meters away which takes you to San Remo or Kilcunda.
For cyclists the rail trail from Anderson to Wonthaggi is close by and is an easy ride featuring coastal views. Further afield there is the Bass Coast Rail Trail which can be started at Leongatha to Meeniyan and onto Foster and makes for a beautiful ride.
San Remo Cape Woolami (great surfing and swimming beach) and Phillip Island are a short drive away featuring the world famous Penguin Parade, Seal Rocks and is host to the annual Grand Prix. There are also a variety of other attractions including wineries, Koala Park and more coastal walks and beautiful beaches.
