Can you imagine drifting off to sleep listening to the surf? Or waking in winter to the sound of rain on the roof, knowing you are cosy in bed with your electric blanket and a glowing wood fire? Then Surf Sound at 12 Graeme Grove is the place for you. No roads to cross, just a beach path to follow.

Backing onto the dunes and ti-tree, Surf Sound has its own access track to the friendly beach, with flags and lifesavers patrolling during the summer school holidays. The 'Little Nippers' activities offered by the Surf Lifesaving Club are popular with young ones, while Shallow Inlet offers low tide car access for boating, fishing and water sports.

Just 20 minutes drive from the gates to the Wilsons' Prom National Park, and a short distance to the artists' village of Fish Creek with its galleries and coffee shops, or a trip to the country town of Foster, the surrounding area meets a range of interests.

The House

Surf Sound is a log-cabin style house, freshly painted and recently having undergone minor renovations. It sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms, with two single beds and a bunk bed in the third bedroom. All beds are supplied with pillows, doonas and mattress protectors. A portacot is available, with cot bedding supplied. Guests will need to supply their own linen sheets and towels.

For entertainment, there is a TV and DVD player, radio and CD player. There is also a well-stocked games cupboard.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking, with a microwave, cooktop and oven, fridge and plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery.

The family bathroom has a shower, vanity, washing machine and trough, along with a hair dryer and electric heating. There is the convenience of a separate toilet.

Outside is a gas BBQ, table and chairs await leisurely meals or quiet times when the resident koala may be spotted. No pets please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Calm and Serene- Amazing Place to Stay The house was very cozy and the surroundings were very calm and serene. There were few cobwebs and some places of the house was a little rustic but the house was 40 years old as far a I remember so a little bit of the rustic feeling was all good. We also saw a snake right out on the pathway of the house which actually stopped us from relaxing outside for most of the trip remaining but nevertheless we had a lot of fun. Overall it was a very good experience and the house was a very short and good walk to the beach and has a good music collection haha. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great position The property is situated close to the beach and accommodated our family of 4 quite well. Our only concern, if there was one, was that it could have been cleaner upon our arrival.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location Excellent log cabin right next to sandy point beach. The place is well set up for full cooking experience, comfortable & a highlight was sitting in front of the fire when it cooled down at night time. Well priced & recommended!
