This home is an older style two story; 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 living area home. With views across Swan Bay from the front of the house, and views to the dunes from the back of the house - it's a location away from the crowds.
After entering the front door, just off the passage is a large bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a queen size bed. As you continue to walk though, you enter the downstairs lounge. Access to the shower/WC and laundry off the side. At the back of the house is another queen size bedroom.
Upstairs there is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with wonderful views across Swan Bay. With a balcony off to the side - it's a great space to enjoy the views and relax. A further 2 bedrooms are upstairs. The master has a queen bed and a balcony off to the side with glimpses of Swan Bay. The final bedroom has two single beds with views over the dunes. Upstairs there is also a shower room with a separate WC. A powerful AC unit is in the open plan lounge. Pedestal fans are available through the house.
I try to keep the home allergy neutral. Downstairs there are concrete floors with rugs, upstairs there are floorboards with rugs.
With heaters in all rooms, it’s warm and cozy.
There are three TV's in the home, two DVD players with many DVD's and a PlayStation 3 console with a few games.
There is a large shed in the back yard for use. The back garden is pet friendly with supervision.
Please note, as with most Airbnb rentals on the island in this price bracket, I don't provide sheets and towels unless organised before you arrive. Please give me at least 24 hours notice, also note there is a small laundry fee for each set.
The local council have just built a children’s playground. It’s fantastic, just outside the back gate, there is also a bbq and seating area.
The home backs directly onto a newly built BBQ area provided by the Surf Beach Shire. Loads of open space to sit, kick a ball or just cook up some BBQ. Then you're right by the sand dunes. A short walk 400m along the dune gets Surf Beach access, walking the other way 400m is access to Surfies Point. The beaches are great for surfing, swimming not patrolled - Woolamai is the nearest patrolled beach or lazing on the white sand. There are rock pools up and down the beach for kids to collect shells and try to find the fish and crabs.
The beach is dog friendly at certain times of the day - morning and evening walks are wonderful.
I have a high chair if needed.
Interaction with guests
I'll be contactable on my phone at all times, I live 90 mins away so can be there to help with any issues in no time. I'd love to give you insider info on the island as I've spend the last 10 years there with my family.

The penguins are wonderful to watch exiting the water, and tickets can be booked at the Phillip Island tourism site.
