'Mingalar' means ‘welcome’ and ‘place of peace and serenity' in Pail, the language of Buddhism. When you arrive, you will feel welcome too. Mingalar is the ideal summer holiday destination. 2 minutes from the beach - let the kids run wild. Spend the evening by the outside fire.
As seen on Channel 9's 'When love comes to town'. Hosted by The Farmer Wants A Wife's Natalie Gruzlewski.... 12 single city girls travel the country in a bus, moving from town to town until they find their man and leave the bus... One of the country boys hosted his girl at Mingalar at The Honeysuckles. They loved it and you can too.
Whether you are after an active holiday of surfing, swimming, golf, and bushwalking, or a relaxed chill out doing very little, Mingalar in the small hamlet of The Honeysuckles is the place to do it.
300 metres from the spectacular 90 Mile Beach, Mingalar is built in sympathy with the Banksia landscape.

It’s a rural area. Expect to see echidnas and wombats. There’s lots of kangaroos in the area. We have even had a resident emu and it’s not uncommon to see dolphins off the beach.
We have welcomed newcomers to the area by providing transitional housing until they found something permanent. Get in touch via the enquiry form if you would like to explore staying at Mingalar for an extended period.
