Fantastic position, fully fenced, within easy walking distance to Beach No. 1, Venus Bay village and children's playground around the corner. Pets very welcome - please advise if bringing pets when booking.

Unlike most rental properties in Venus Bay, we provide a full linen service including bathroom towels as well as tea-towels. All beds are freshly made up for your arrival, complete with doonas, cushions and electric blankets to the queens. There are no additional charges to stay at our property, a bond is not required and the linen service and cleaning cost is included in the nightly rate.

This 3 bedroom cottage offers style and character. It has been verified as the original Station Master's Cottage Circa 1913 from the old Anderson railway station, which was located at what is now the Phillip Island roundabout. The house was relocated to its current position in 1981, following the closure of the rail line from Nyora to Wonthaggi.

Behind the picket fence lies a charming cottage steeped in history and offering stylish accommodation, while retaining much of its century old woodwork.

The cottage has an open plan living area, which features original dado panelling, complemented by leather couches and decor. This adjoins the spacious light-filled kitchen/dining area. With 3 large bedrooms the first two comprise queen beds, the third has 2 single beds.

Features include fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, LCD TV, DVD, CD/iPod player, split system, electric blankets on queen beds and separate laundry with washing machine, bathroom and separate toilet. Clothesline located north side of cottage.

Well behaved pets are welcome. The property is set on a large flat block giving pets plenty of room to run around and explore. It is fully fenced and pets are allowed inside not on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Please advise if bringing pets when booking.

Head outside to an undercover deck complete with BBQ and outdoor setting. The cottage is set on a fully fenced block 650sq mtrs, which makes it perfect for families and a dog's paradise. Whether you want to spend the day on the beach or have a quiet relax on the decks, this one's for you.

Long driveway allows for up to 3 cars to be parked securely behind the front gates.

Within easy walking distance to local general store/cafe & eateries, children's playground, parkland & public BBQ area as well as Beach no. 1. Plenty of fishing to be had on any of the 5 beaches. Walking/bike track riverside to Tarwin Lower where you can dine at the local historical pub and visit nearby shops or hire the tennis courts. Put the kayak in at Estate No. 2 boat ramp - Anderson's Inlet, or at Tarwin Lower - Tarwin River.

The kids loved the good sized secure yard and tree to climb. Very well equipped in terms of cooking/kitchen utensils. Loved the little extras like hot water bottles and snap lock bags. Prompt communication with the owner was appreciated. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.
