This unique author’s house is perfect for a relaxing holiday. You can soak up both ‘luna’ and ‘sea’ during your stay. Gaze at the full moon through a bedroom porthole and see the night sky from a star shaped skylight. Jo would like you to enjoy the quirkiness of her house and the visual delights of her love of colour and sense of the ridiculous. Go to her website and see the Launch of Lunasea in 2007 when she dressed up as the Queen...
You will relax in a delightful, tranquil setting with one of the best vistas in Venus Bay. Sit on the large back deck and take in the rolling hills, trees and wildlife. You are only a short walk from the shops and the patrolled Beach One and 2 mins walk from the bike/walk track to Tarwin Lower.
The house has three bedrooms ….one queen bed room, one double bed room and one double / single bunk room. There is one bathroom, an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, split system air conditioner, wood heater, flat screen TV, DVD, stereo, microwave, washing machine and large BBQ.
The floors are polished wood and you will delight in the enormous Tasmanian Oak, wave shaped dining / kitchen work area table. The large front windows and French doors are double glazed opening on to two large front and back decks.
Jo would like you to experience a memorable visit in her writer’s retreat.
Who knows, in this atmosphere you might write your first novel or simply feel inspired to return home and be creative in your own way.
