Walky South Beach House is a brand new 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house located at beautiful Walkerville South, opposite the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park.
The perfect property for a family or two: it includes 2 king beds and 6 beds as bunks (one being a double), allowing it to sleep 10 comfortably. Both bathrooms contain a toilet and double shower, and the main bathroom has a bath. There is also an outside shower for washing off the sand and sea after a day at the beach.
Linen, towels, and beach towels are included. You will also find some items in the pantry such as tea, coffee, sugar, sauce, salt and pepper, long life milk, promite, vegemite, etc..
The house also contains two separate living areas which allows adults and children to spread out. Upstairs you'll find a TV and speakers to connect your iPhone to, while downstairs the TV has a DVD player and Nintendo WII to keep the children (and some adults) entertained. The is no land line phone, but there is great mobile phone coverage (if you're with Telstra - Optus is intermittent).
With views of the ocean and Wilsons Promontory, Walky South Beach House is only a short 5 minute walk to the water.
Walkerville South is known for its historic lime kilns, but there is so much more to see! Besides the long stretch of sandy beach (perfect for little ones as it is so sheltered), there are rock pools to explore, rocky outcrops to climb, caves to discover, as well as walking tracks through the park or along the shore. And don't forget the lighthouse located a short 5-10 minute drive away.
There are also beautiful drives to explore the surrounding area and towns - Inverloch, Venus Bay, Tarwin Lower, Sandy Point, Fish Creek and Foster are all within a 30 minute drive. Wilsons Promontory, and Tidal River, is located only an hour drive away.
Shopping can be done at either Tarwin Lower (15 mins), Inverloch (30 mins) or Foster (30 mins) - you'll find supermarkets, chemists, pubs and cafes, as well as other shops. Fish Creek Hotel (20 mins) does amazing meals! If you do need something quickly there is a kiosk located in the Walkerville North Caravan Park only a 5 min drive away, or take your time walking along the beach.
This is an amazing part of Victoria, and an area as yet untouched by lots of visitors and tourists (though in summer the beach can get very busy...!). Once you discover it, you will find that you'll want to come back and see everything that this beautiful coastline offers.
This is a non smoking property.
We do not take bookings for "schoolies" - this holiday house was designed for the use of one or two families.
Thanks for your understanding.
