Rated 3 out of 5 by from Enjoyable stay We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet little cottage Only issue was with bedding, only a double bed in the bedroom downstairs so small that we had to bring one of the single mattresses from upstairs for hubby and I to be able to sleep in the same room. There was a queenside bed upstairs but it was so wobbly we didn't dare sleeping in it. Would suggest that the property would greatly benefit from fixing the wobble to the upstairs bed and putting a king size bed downstairs. We would love to stay there again but won't unless downstairs bedding issues are addressed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute house We stayed here for 4 nights. This is a lovely little house, however we were very disappointed with its cleanliness and clutter. Cleaning appeared to be only superficial with cupboards and items in the kitchen dirty. Cupboards were cluttered and disorganised. There was a very unpleasant smell on arrival and the house was filled with flies that took us days to get rid of. There was no washing machine (could have been recently broken but noone told us) - this was difficult as we had just come from the Prom hiking and had loads of dirty washing. There was no coffee plunger or way to make coffee and the kitchen was generally not equipped well. On the plus side the playset in the garden was much enjoyed by our 5 year old (she also loved her upstairs room) and the decks were lovely to enjoy the sunshine. It really is a nice little house and it is a shame that more effort has not been put in to make it more comfortable and enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value for money property We had two families stay at Pelican Point and we really enjoyed our stay. The porch are great for parent relaxing and the kids made full use of the front yard for backyard cricket. Lots of kids in the street so there were a few street cricket matches. The house has everything you need for a relaxed holiday stay. Its walking distance to Waratah beach and to the caravan park café where you can get a coffee or an ice cream. If you must have multiple bathrooms, air conditioning in bedrooms and Internet reception this house is not for you. But if you want a holiday house that provides everything you need, but is relaxed and comfortable then this is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quiet and relaxing We had a very enjoyable long weekend at Waratah Bay. Beautiful peaceful location. While the house had everything we needed, it looked like it needed a good clean. Kids enjoyed all the wildlife in the garden - including a koala and echidna.
