RARE CHANCE TO STAY IN A HERITAGE LISTED MONASTERY. TRES ANGELIQUE is the ONLY apartment in a complex of over 30 apartments that is available for holiday rental. A former Monastery built in stages from 1890 to the early 1900's on acreage so close to Lake Wendouree. A beautiful heritage listed property with a romantic atmosphere in a fantastic location.

Tres Angelique Apartment is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a large open plan living area heated by a gas space heater and electric heaters in both bedrooms making it warm and cosy in winter. In summer it is cooled with pedestal fans and an evaporative cooler in the living room. .It has two car spaces, one at street level and one in the underground car park.It is a security gated complex that does not allow access to the public.


Please note that it is a second floor apartment with no lifts but the stairs are not steep and there are seven landings on which to rest.

The modern fully equipped kitchen has black granite bench tops, stainless steel gas oven and hotplates, 4 slice toaster and electric kettle. The microwave is in the pantry. Breakfast provisions will be supplied for short stays and tea, coffee and biscuits for all stays.Breakfast provisions are included free of charge like bread, eggs, bacon, milk, margarine, cereals and orange juice.

The Paris bedroom has a queen sized bed, custom built wardrobe with drawers inside and an en suite.The Oriental bedroom has a mixture of Chinese and Japanese decor, a queen sized leather bed and the use of the main bathroom which has a shower over the bath and a marble vanity. All bed linen, towels,hand washes,shower gels for men and women and guest soaps are supplied and there is a hair dryer in the main bathroom.

A fully equipped European laundry with ironing facilities is between the bedrooms.

For your entertainment there is a 39 inch television and DVD player. Movie DVDs and popular board games are in the cupboard in the entrance foyer.A 5 stacker CD Stereo player to play your favourite Cds on or listen to the local FM radio stations. There is no internet connection or WiFi but there is free WiFi at Stockland Wendouree or the local McDonald's.

Tres Angelique is ideally set up for two couples wanting to share the cost of accommodation. A wooden cot is available on request.. Also there is a single folding bed available for children.

Please note that it is the policy of the Body Corporate that no smoking is allowed in any part of the building including the stairwell due to its historic importance, but you are welcome to use the butt container provided and smoke in the garden.There is a table and chairs under the old weeping oak tree in the courtyard garden area which is the ideal spot for a coffee amd a smoke.

Please note there is a minimum 2 night stay when booking.
