Guest access - our apartment features widescreen TV's in the lounge and main bedroom and electric heaters in each room. The main bedroom also has an air conditioner.
The apartment is furnished with three queen size beds, an eclectic mix of antique furniture, retro pieces and decorated with both modern and antique art.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher and under-bench fridge. Utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided.
Linen and towels are provided and the single bathroom contains a toilet, vanity and shower.
Laundry facilities are NOT provided, however there is a laundromat, Ballarat Laundry at 711 Sturt Street, and dry cleaners, Cressbells at 631 Sturt Street nearby.
Cafe Cornucopia is located around the corner on Mair street is open from 6am each weekday and the restaurant downstairs Bar Wat is open for lunch Wed-Fri and dinner Wed-Sat.
The apartment is in a perfect location for anyone who needs access to either Ballarat Base Hospital or St John of God Hospital, both right across the road Surrounded by the medical and professional precinct on the edge of the CBD, ACU is only a block away.
For those who enjoy running or walking, Ballarat's Lake Wendouree is just a short stroll or jog away.
There are many fine food establishments in the area, not least of all your hosts' Cafe Cornucopia or Bar Wat located just downstairs
Getting around - The apartment is located within walking distance of central Ballarat 10-15 minutes and Lake Wendouree 5 minutes.
There is a bus stop directly out the front of the building on Drummond Street, route 1 which services central Ballarat to Wendouree West and is one block from Sturt Street from where you can access routes 12 Sebastopol, 14 Delecombe, 18 Alfredton, 15 Sturt Street West and 16 Lake Gardens.
The Ballarat train station is a 15 minute walk or accessible via the bus routes.
Limited car parking is available on site and free on street parking located a block away to the north. Please be mindful of local parking restrictions, as they are strictly enforced.
Please note that the apartment is accessed by an external staircase. No access is available through the restaurant.
To save on cleaning and laundering costs, the rooms not being utilised by guests are locked, an extra charge will be applied fro opening additional rooms.
