'Dana' is a beautiful example of some of Ballarat's outstanding heritage homes. This newly renovated self contained Victorian is in the heart of the city making it the perfect place to stay for either a little get away or for business. Large enough for families to enjoy but perfectly suited to singles or couples also.
Ballarat's Fine Art Gallery, Her Majesty's Theatre, shopping and many cafes and restaurants are extremely close by, no need to worry about parking. Lake Wendouree and hospitals are also within walking distance. A short 5 minute drive to Ballarat's acclaimed Sovereign Hill any many other local attractions. Only houses away from the Gordon's Memorial bronze horse statue and many other sculptures and monuments along the Sturt Street Gardens.
As a designer, it was of tremendous importance to me while renovating to retain any remaining original features where possible and to enhance these with new fittings to create usable spaces and ambience to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The style is quite provincial with a large white porcelain kitchen sink and stone top vanities in the bathrooms, polished timber floorboards throughout and beautiful soft furnishings.
Three bedrooms, two having queen size beds, one has a king single also and the third bedroom has three single beds - all beds have electric blankets fitted in the cooler months. There is a portable cot also. Light filled bathroom with euro laundry and a second bathroom available for larger group bookings. Two separate living areas - the lounge and the large kitchen, dining and family area leading straight onto the deck at the rear of the home. BBQ available for your use in the Summer months if requested upon booking.
Off street parking also
