Step back in time and enjoy the atmosphere of Joseph's Cottage. Built in the 1860s, this recently restored miner's cottage includes modern-day comforts whilst retaining original character and charm.
The cottage is located just steps away from the Victorian Goldfields Railway Steam Train, and is within 5 minutes' walk to the Maldon township. It's a perfect base to enjoy the town's historic architecture and goldfields' heritage, as well as the antique stores, cafes and galleries. Castlemaine is a 15-minute drive away; or enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive to Daylesford, Kyneton, Clunes or Bendigo.
Relax and unwind in front of the open fire or in the claw foot bath. Pick herbs and flowers from the garden, and cook in the country kitchen or outdoors on the fire pit or bbq.
