The contemporary furnishings have been chosen with comfort in mind so guests can relax with a feeling of being in a home away from home. The fully self-contained and private house contains three bedrooms, a central bathroom, ensuite to the main bedroom, dining room, cosy lounge, large fully equipped kitchen featuring a St George double oven, laundry and covered outdoor deck. A major feature is the lockable two-car garage affording secure parking for your modern or classic car. Two of the bedrooms contain queen size beds plus a smaller bedroom is equipped with a large single.
A welcome pack includes: coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and chocolates. Individual breakfast packages can be provided at additional cost. Continental breakfast may include croissants, muesli and yogurt plus condiments and for those with appetites sharpened by the clear country air, cooked breakfast provisions include locally sourced smoked bacon and eggs, artisan bread, tomato and mushrooms. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available upon request.

Guests may enjoy watching the donkeys opposite or they can walk to the main street for lunch and peruse the wide variety of shops and cafes. Alternately, explore Maldon’s tourist attractions: Carmen’s Tunnel, the Victorian Goldfields Railway featuring authentic steam trains linkling Maldon to Castlemaine, the Mount Tarrengower Lookout and the Maldon Dredge and Dragline. In addition, Maldon is surrounded by rolling hills, walking/cycling tracks and wineries. Annual events include the Maldon Easter Festival, Mt Tarrengower Historic Hill Climb and the Maldon Folk Festival. Venturing further afield, places of interest include Castlemaine’s historic Buda House, the Old Goal and the Restorers Barn.
