Farmers Roost is situated between the towns of Maldon and Baringhup in Victoria, set on 190 acres. The property has outcrops of granite rock formations and is close to significant natural, heritage and geographical features such as Mt Tarrengower, Pidgeon Hill, Cairn Curran Reservoir and the Loddon River.
The place available is the old stables and is a self contained two bedroom guesthouse. It is fully self contained and is seperate to the main house, with its own seperate space. There is an outside camp fire and a viewing deck. It has great views over the paddocks and hills.
We also have horses on the property and people can pat and feed them under supervision and by request. If you own a horse you can bring them as well and put them in one of the small padocks.
We are completely off grid for power and water and it is a pecefull and quite place. We are in the process of regenerating the property by planting and encouraging native birds and animals. There are plenty of birds, kangaroos and other native animals.
