The Daisy Hill track is directly opposite Leeway lane and is most suitable for walking or bring your bikes and really enjoy the many tracks at your doorstep. See the kangaroos, wallabies and sometimes koalas too, all in their natural environment.
Only 8kms into Maryborough township, you couldn't ask for more. Four major supermarkets, K-Mart, country Target and lots of other shopping opportunities. Some great places to eat out for families and couples.
You must take the time to visit the Maryborough Railway Station, described by Mark Twain as 'the town attached to the railway station'. It's character and grandeur are sure to impress
It's a wonderful place to spend quality time, getting back to basics. Only Telstra provides any reception at the cottages, which most see as a blessing. Other carriers are able to be picked up in Maryborough Township.
Bring your favourite books, games and music, or enjoy the entertainment of the outdoors.
An indoor pool is available in town at the YMCA, or swimming is permitted about 4 kms toward Maryborough, at the Reservoir.
Talbot is 7 km away and has one of the best outdoor country markets, held on the third Sunday of each month.
Clunes is about 15 minutes away and has an historic township, which has been home to some famous movie sets.
Lots of local drives and wineries to enjoy, exploring the area.
