Bright is the perfect base when you want to explore the beautiful North East and High Country. Nestled in between Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham and Falls creek there is always stunning bush walking and views during the warmer months and skiing, tobogganing and fun in the snow during the ski season.
In town there are relaxed walks along the river and creeks as well as lookouts giving great views over the township. There is plenty of choice for a great coffee, bite of lunch or a special evening out at one of the many restaurants and eateries on offer.
For the wine lovers you are in the perfect spot as the King Valley, Kiewa Valley, Rutherglen region and Alpine region all provide a great variety in wines, liqueurs and ports. Enjoy your day either driving yourself or get a group together and get a tour company to drive for you. Limousines can be great fun.
Ride your bike to Boyntons Feathertop Winery and have a chilled glass of wine and a cheese platter or lunch. Or maybe listen to live music at the Bright Brewery whilst sipping one of their lagers.
