In town there are relaxed walks along the river and creeks as well as lookouts giving great views over the township. There is plenty of choice for a great coffee, bite of lunch or a special evening out at one of the many restaurants and eateries on offer.
For the wine lovers you are in the perfect spot, as the King Valley, Kiewa Valley, Rutherglen region and Alpine region all provide a great variety in wines, liqueurs and ports. Enjoy your day either driving yourself or get a group together and get a tour company to drive for you. Limousines can be great fun.
Ride your bike to Boyntons Feathertop Winery and have a chilled glass of wine and a cheese platter or lunch. Or maybe listen to live music at the Bright Brewery whilst sipping one of their lagers.
