This three bedroom country cottage is perfect for couples, families or small groups. Our open plan layout and acre of beautiful established gardens will make you feel right at home. The cottage is set back off the main road ensuring peace and seclusion.
Our massive seven seater hudson chaise lounge, outdoor entertaining area with six burner BBQ facilities and wood fire place will give you that country getaway experience you long for.
Our beautifully manicured gardens are set on almost an acre with something always in flower. Jasmin, roses, camelias and some fruit trees just to name a few. Our secure backyard and relaxing garden environment includes a mobile hammock, sun chair, fire pit and brand new red gum outdoor setting for up to 10 guests. Our garden alone will help you relax and enjoy your time in the alpine region before you even step out. During the cooler months a natural spring gently flows along our northern boundary. Enjoy valley views from the decks whilst sitting at our wine barrel and enjoying your complimentary welcome gift.
Bring your bike and jump on the Wandi bike path direct from our cottage door. A brand new children's playground, Maze Cafe, Alpine Park with cricket pitch and Morses Creek is just a few minutes walk.
Inside you'll find books, music, games and DVD library, giant modern fuss ball soccer table and lovely glass ware for that touch of luxury. Bring your own music for our ipod docking station.
What we offer.
All good quality linen supplied 250T/C and above. (2 fluffy towels, 1 face towel & 1 guest soap per person). All beds have mink blankets, electric blankets and two pillows of sorted thickness. New carpets in all bedrooms/hallway.
Bedroom 1: King bed, ceiling fan, wall heater, bench seat, BIR, 4 pillows, doona, mink blanket, throw and electric blanket. Bedside tables & lamps. (Extra blanket). Large reading chair and standing lamp.

Chaise lounge suite seats seven with large ottoman. Large flat screen colour TV, DVD player, CD/Radio/Ipod player, large brand new reverse cycle air-conditioner, ceiling fan, wood log fire with kindling & firewood supplied (child safety screen) - $10 wood donation per night applies with honesty system if utilised. Large antique glass cabinet with lovely glassware of all sorts, assorted books, DVDs, games.

Our cottage and Wandiligong
Wandiligong is a charming old gold mining town just a few minutes drive out of Bright. We are located directly on the Wandi bike path (3km to CBD), close to wineries, gourmet region and a great range of outdoor recreation not to mention being surrounded by national parks, cycle trails, horse riding and fantastic river recreation. We are just 300m from a brand new playground in the Alpine Park and 100m opposite Morses Creek. We are 1km from Wandi Pub and 400m from Wandi Maze Café.
Our cottage gardens include the oldest Elm trees in the area (trimmed for safety) along with many varieties of roses and annuals. Hire of mountain bikes can be arranged for those wanting to explore the area up close. Two toboggans are available FOC at the cottage during winter. Contact the owners direct for a snow report or driving advice.
What to do in Bright/Wandiligong
Numerous cafes, wineyards, restaurants, breweries to self endulge. Many Berry, Nut, Alpaca, Trout and Deer farms to visit. Museum and art galleries for the artists to take in. Ski, board, XC ski, fish, mountain bike, paraglide, microlite, abseil, hang glide, climb, cave, take a joy flight or horse ride for those more adventurous. Cycle along the Rail Trail and for those who like to take in the views a slower pace. We highly recommended a day trip to the Red Stag Deer and Emu Farm and Mt Buffalo National Park during your stay.
