The first floor features 2 huge upstairs outdoor entertainment areas with the back deck overlooking the Ovens River 20 mtrs away and Canyon Walk - the front deck has views of Apex Hill and the trails to Mt. Beauty. It is perfect for entertaining large groups -morning breakfast on the front deck - a dinner BBQ on the back deck, listening to the Ovens River.
The first floor has two bedrooms, a king size master with ensuite, and queen size with spa and full bathroom.The king size master bedroom also accesses both outdoor areas.
The kitchen is simply grand - a chef's dream, with a large island bench, fully equipped kitchen with all needs considered. Industrial air conditioning is provided to the upstairs area, plus ceiling fans in all rooms. For winter there is a gasflame heater in the lounge for that 'extra' atmosphere. There is also a large TV/DVD available with Austar connected for guest use.
The ground floor has a billiard table,TV, DVD, books, chess and games bookcase for extra relaxation. There are also two lounges and bean bags for the kids/big kids and a Coonara wood stove for those cold nights there is wood for guest use in the garage. The bunk-room, which sleeps 5, is next door to the lounge and has an adjoining bathroom.
The ground floor also has a separate self-contained flat witha second kitchen, and an additional two rooms that provide a queen bed with adjoining room and pull-out double setee and single bed. This area also has an air conditioner. Perfect for a young family or like-minded group.
There is a double garage with remote controlled doors, and room for two more vehicles off-street as well. There are also remote controlled awnings upstairs, beautiful gardens to enjoy, birdlife, and much, much more.
Canyons Bend is BYO LINEN or alternatively, linen can be hired/delivered from Bright Escapes for a nominal fee before arrival. Bathmats and tea towels are provided.

Located on "Canyon Walk" this property is discreetly secured to ensure toddlers cannot wander into the river. Step out the back gate,turn right and just twenty steps later you're at the river. Turn left and you are 7 minute slow walk to the centre of Bright township along the beautiful Canyon Walk.
For your added security, this property Canyons Bend is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts.
Five minute drive to the golf course, 1 hr to the snowfields, walking/cycling trails at your back door. Local art gallery, wineries and much more
What we, the owners, love to do~
1 Long walks along the many trails.
2 On hot days sit in the river with a drink or two and watch the kids splash
3 On cold days hit the ski slopes or wander into town for a coffee or hot
4 Hang glide, trail ride, bike ride, read a book or just read the newspaper from
cover to cover.
5 Cook up a storm and have dinner on the deck with nature and laugh with
friends or family till late.
6 Light the fire, hit the downstairs bar or pick a bottle from the wine rack and
7 Share a spa bath with candles and a glass of bubbly.
8 Lunch at local wineries.
9 Catch up with the latest DVD in front of the fire.
10 Take a scenic drive; in any direction. Visit historic Wandiligong and drop in
to the Maze for lunch, or the local pub.
11 Pick one of the many great Bright restaurants for dinner.
11 Idle away the hours fishing rods provided. In season, of course
12 Wander up to the local brewery for a local beer for happy hour.
13 Sit on the deck and be amazed at nature's awesome beauty.
