Booking Terms and Conditions
Apres at Alkatraz – Booking Terms and Conditions
“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
“Property” means Flat 8 – Apres apartment at Alkatraz and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
"Guests" means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.
"Visitor" means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.
ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
• Payment of the Deposit and/or balance constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
CHECK IN/ OUT
•Check-in time is not before 4pm on the arrival date (unless pre-organised with manager)
•Check -out time is not later 10am if ‘NOT self cleaning’ OR 3pm if guests ‘AGREED to self cleaning’ on departure date.
•Door key code and arrival information will be emailed once deposit has been received.
• A deposit of 50% must be received within 7 days after the Booking is taken. Bookings are not confirmed unless and until this deposit is received.
• Payment in full must be received no later than 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
• For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to arrival, Payment in full must be received within 7 days after the Booking is taken.Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
• Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits or the Booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to you.
We accept payment by the following methods: Direct deposit into our bank account, bank cheque or money order.
• Personal cheques will be accepted if received at least 30 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
• If you wish to vary or cancel your Booking, please contact us immediately via email.
Cancellation Fees Apply
Cancellation policy is applicable to whole or part cancellation of bookings.
•A booking cancelled 3 months or more before commencement of booking: Administration fee $50.00 applies.
•A booking cancelled 1 month or more before commencement: fee retained is 50% of the total rental cancelled, unless a replacement booking is found, plus the administration fee.
•A booking cancelled less than 1 month before commencement: fee retained will be all the total rent paid. If a replacement booking is found only the administration fee will be retained.
A security bond is held as Credit Card and/or refundable cleaning deposit. Subject to the property being left in a clean condition with no damage, refundable bonds will be deposited within 14 days of departure.
Are current and are subject to change without notice. No responsibility is accepted for errors and omissions on the website.
The number of guests of the rented premises must not exceed the number of beds provided or the number agreed to with management at the time of booking.
Self Cleaning- we offer lower rates and late checkout with the expectation all areas inside the property will be left clean and ready for new guests arrival.
Booking a cleaner – we expect the property will be left neat and tidy, all rubbish removed and taken to Roadside garbage receptacle, dishes done and fridge emptied.
Strictly outside only and please – NO BUTTS on the ground in beautiful Falls Creek.
As a guest, you are responsible for all damages, breakages and losses incurred during the term of your occupancy. All damages, breakages and losses must be replaced, paid for or made good to the satisfaction of the owner/agent.
The property supplies doonas and pillows, it is your responsibility to bring Linen and Towels.
No responsibility will be taken by the owner for guest's possessions left at the property. If items are left and need to be returned, please advise via email.
1. The guest:
a) uses and occupies the premises at his/her own risk; and
b) Indemnifies the owner against any liability, which may attach to the owner as a result of injury or loss being personal or proprietary suffered by any person where any injury damage or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the guest or his/her agent.
Privacy- All personally identifying information that you provide voluntarily (e.g. name, address and phone number) will only be used by Apres Management to respond to your enquiry and to provide our rental service.
