With the property backing onto the beautiful Ovens river, OvensDale is a wonderful place to get away from it all.
It has a large lounge room with a slow combustion wood heater and modern, fully equipped kitchen dining room with cathedral ceilings and split system heating and cooling.
Able to sleep 11 people with 3 queen beds, 2 single and a set of bunks including a trundle bed. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and separate shower as well as 2 toilets. One of the queen beds and the bunk with trundle is located in a "family suite" with it's own bathroom and toilet separating a queen bed on one side and a set of bunks on the other. There is also a trundle under these bunks that can be used for an extra child if prior arrangements have been made for the linen to be provided for this trundle.
The laundry is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, iron and wall mounted clothesline and there is undercover parking for 3 vehicles.
The tariffs shown are for up to 4 guests with an additional cost of $25 per night for any additional guests.
All bedding is provided and bath mats. You will need to bring your own bath towels.
Harrietville, the jewel in the crown of Victoria's High Country
The historic gold mining town of Harrietville is located just 20 minutes from the beautiful township of Bright and 45 minutes from both Mt Buffalo and Mt Hotham.
A short stroll to a choice of cafes and relaxed dining.
There is a wonderful shared trail for walkers and cyclists directly in front of the property that was completed in Nov 2014 so don't forget to bring your bikes. It is an easy 4.5km ride to the Mountain Fresh Trout and Salmon Farm where there is fun for all the family.
The renowned Mt Feathertop and Bungalow Spur walking tracks start in Harrietville and there are many other scenic walks around town ranging in length from 1 hour to a couple of days.
A choice of wineries within 30min to 1 hr drive from Harrietville.The wine and gourmet food regions of Milawa and the King Valley are only an hour away as are the historic towns of Beechworth and Yackandandah.
