Nestled on the banks of the mighty Goulburn River, close to the picturesque township of Jamieson, "Riverside" is a rambling Tudor style cottage that dates back to the early 1900's, a time when gold rush fever still had its grip on the region. "Riverside" is located on two acres of idyllic park like gardens with old fruit trees and over 50 meters of private Goulburn River frontage.
The perfect location for a cosy winter escape or summer getaway.
In the colder months relax by the cosy wood fires with a glass of wine and a good book and enjoy the peaceful morning mist as it rises from the water, clinging to the trees before gently drifting from the valley. Take a drive to Mt Buller for the snow season or have a hearty meal at one of the local pubs or Cafes.
In summer cool down by the river in a sun lounge with a cool drink or take a swim in the river or a paddle in the mountain stream that also borders the property. Play Badminton or other lawn games on the grass and maybe have a BBQ on the deck. There is room to park your boat and the Jamieson boat ramp into Lake Eildon is only a few minutes away.
Ideal for family getaways, groups of friends or just having the place all to yourself. "Riverside" is secluded, comfortable and is the ideal place to access all that the Mansfield high country area has to offer.
A great place to visit all year round.
