Description

Escape to The Mountainfront.

The maddening crowd is but a distant memory when you spend time immersed in nature at The Mountainfront. From the in-deck 6 seat spa you can almost touch the mountains whilst you watch the deer and kangaroos bathed in the light of dusk.

More information

The log alpine home uniquely offers interrupted views to the mountains and beyond. Boasting a chefs kitchen with gas hob backyard and three bedrooms, this home is the ideal location for your private alpine getaway.

The space

The spa is the ideal spot to soothe your muscles after a big day out exploring, whilst someone wips up a bbq feast on the deck.

Crisp linen and fresh white towels provided

Guest access

Exclusive access to the house, spa, carport and backyard.

As you drive up the sealed road towards The Mountainfront, you are likely to be greeted by deer or kangaroos enjoying the lush alpine grass. Those arriving in daylight will usually stop part-way up the road to take photos, breathe in the air and the enjoy the view. A few meters on, and hidden down a driveway, built into the hill, you will find the rough-sawn timber facade of The Mountainfront. As you descend the alpine granite steps and pass the large timber-logs supporting the entry-deck you will enter "The Mud Room". In summer "The Mud Room" is the ideal place to leave your hiking and associated outdoor toys. You will then descend 3 steps to the main living level where you will find three bedrooms a bathroom with separate toilet and another toilet in the Laundry area. The house feels warm, homely and made from natural materials from the local area. It's not until you walk across the mudstone rock into the main living area that your jaw will drop. You realise that are truely in The Mountainfront.
