Privately owned, Chalet Apartment is situated in a fantastic, on snow, true Ski In Ski Out, Bourke Street location on Mt.Buller. Newly refurbished, it offers a modern and relaxing atmosphere and represents great value in a spacious one bedroom apartment.
This apartment is located on the 3rd level (8th floor) of the southern side of the Chalet Apartments building. It offers views of the Bourke Street ski run from the living room and balcony, great for both those skiing and relaxing! It provides easy access to the Mt Buller Ski School, which is perfect for families with small children. It is an easy walk to the village, supermarket and the many mountain restaurants and bars on offer.
1 x Double Bunk/Single Overhead & Trundle Bed (4). Fold out large comfortable double sofa in the lounge room sleeps (2), in total sleeping up to 6.
Elevator access throughout building makes getting around easy!
Linen and towels provided, together with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, including pots and pans.
Laundry facilities are located on level 5 & 6 of the building with coin operated washers and dryers. A ski locker is located on level 6.
Discounts for 7 night bookings. Friday & Saturday nights must be booked together.
SHORT STAY BOOKINGS MID WEEK - DAYS OF WEEK
If booking a 2 or 3 night stay mid week, the days must be in one of the following combinations:

CHECK IN: 4pm

EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT
You may request an early check in and late check out, this cannot be guaranteed and will not be known until one day prior to your arrival/departure. Please do not make your plans around this. If you wish to ski the day of arrival and/or departure the best option is to leave your luggage in the car, take the day shuttle or taxi up to the village and when the apartment is ready you can retrieve your luggage and check in.
Please be sure to tell you over-snow taxi driver to take you to Chalet Apartments, not Chalet Hotel.
Key Collection - there is a key drop box in between the glass doors at the main north side entry (this is where the over-snow taxi will drop you). Please type the mobile phone number you used to confirm your booking (be sure to check I have the correct number) followed by the # key and the keys will release.
Key Return - please leave keys hanging on the snowmobile key rack by the front door (a $50 lost key penalty exists)
Please take all garbage to the rubbish hut located outside level 4. The rubbish hut is located at the bottom of the heated driveway, at the end of the parked cars. It is a little wooden hut, with a triangular roof.
Please turn heaters off when you leave the apartment.
CLEAN & TIDY
Please clean any excess spills or cooking mess. Please rinse all dishes, pots & pans and place in dishwasher & turn on (dishwasher & cleaning supplies are in the cupboard under the sink)
Please keep carpet clean.
SKIS, SNOWBOARDS & TOBOGGANS
Please not not keep ski, snowboard and snow play equipment in the apartment 811. Please do not leave snow gear in the hallway. There is a ski/snowboard lockable storage cage on level 6. The 811 room key opens this storage cage. The storage cage area is located on level six, next to the entry doors. Our cage is in the second row on the right hand side. Once in this row, it is just over half way down on the left side. It has a small gold round key ring with 811 engraved on it.
Please remove ski boots before entering the apartment (we are a socks & slippers apartment). You may store your ski boots in the drying cupboard.
No smoking in the apartment or on the balcony
There are smoking areas outside on levels 4 & 6
Please report any accidental damage or carpet spills immediately to prevent permanent damage and loss of bond
Please keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10pm-8am
Do not place foreign objects in the toilet
Linen and towels provided, together with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, including pots and pans. We do not supply tea, coffee, etc. You will need to bring all your food requirements, including toiletries and additional toilet paper for extended stays.
Laundry facilities are located on level 5 & 6 of the building with coin operated washers and dryers (it requires $1 coins and you need to supply your own laundry powder).
Please take care of this property, it is both a holiday rental and a much loved family holiday home. Please keep shoes off when inside and take care of the furniture.
