Located just 2km from the gates of Mt Buller and Mt Sterling, and a two and half hour drive from Melbourne, you will not have to venture far to enjoy all that the Victorian alpine region has to offer. Whether you are skiing or boarding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, 4WD, or simply relaxing, Ironbark Mill welcomes you.
Ironbark Mill is a rustic mud brick and timber home that has been architecturally designed to provide warmth and comfort to every room. It is ideal for family, groups, or romantic weekend getaways.
Luxuriously appointed throughout, downstairs consists of two living areas, a large dinning with adjoining kitchen, open fire, TV/DVD, and large bathroom. A separate drying room for all of your snow equipment is also provided.
Ironbark Mill comfortably caters for 3 families. The master bedroom consists of an elevated loft with queen size bed, walk in robe, bathroom and large parents retreat. Lofts 2 and 3 also have queen size beds, with expansive views over the rear garden. The bunk room caters for another 5 guests. Two bunks and a single sofa bed ensuring a warm and comfortable nights rest for all. An additional double sofa bed is located downstairs to help you accommodate additional friends or family. A Porta cot is also provided at no extra cost.
Snow sports are well catered for, Mt Buller and Mt Sterling provide endless terrain for both downhill and cross country adventures. A shuttle bus operates from the Mirrimbar General Store 5min away. Chains can also be hired here should you prefer to drive up the mountain.

Mt Buller has proved it's self as the premier MTB resort in Australia. With an internationally recognised network of cross country and gravity trails, there is a trail for all ages and ridding ability. Mt Buller is home to the only internationally accredited MTB trail in the Southern Hemisphere. The "Epic Trail" is a 40km cross country trail that takes in some of the most spectacular terrain and scenery in the Australian Alps. Ironbark Mill is located only a stone throw away from the end of the "Epic".
Fishing in the high country is often well rewarded. Flicking a dry fly or spinning a lure, rivers such as the Delatite, King, and Howqua are sure to provide you with many options.
Ironbark Mill is located within 1km of some of the best 4WD tracks in the Victorian Alpine region. Tracks leading to iconic locations such as Craigs Hut begin on your doorstep.
