Mulberry House is spacious, airy and light with large windows; all with garden views. It has a great feel about it, with polished boards throughout the kitchen, living and hallways, sheer curtains to let the light in with blinds under to allow privacy. The lounge dining has comfy 2 and 3 seater leather couches, cosy gas log fire, and large Samsung TV with Surround sound. The kitchen is modern with 2 Pak cupboards, large bench space, breakfast bar and quality crockery, glassware and appliances. The 4 separate bedrooms all have large windows overlooking the cottage style garden, and large wardrobes. There are 7 beds total (x2 Queen, x1 Double, x1 Single in the 4 separate bedrooms plus there is a Sofa Double bed that is located in the Kitchen living area if more beds are needed.
The Master double bedroom is large with walk in robe and ensuite with shower. and toilet. The main bathroom has a double shower and large bath and there is a separate toilet (2 toilets total).
A large covered pergola with a BBQ; 2 Outdoor tables and seating for 10 in this area.The garden is well established with large shady trees and the back yard fully fenced.
The Area and attractions
Mulberry House is situated within easy walking distance from the Main Street, Golf Course and restaurants, local eateries and hotels. It is also within easy riding distance (along the Rail Trail) from local wineries, all wineries in the area offer great wine food and often live music on the weekends..
Rutherglen is a great place for all types of riding...we are within riding access of tourist towns such as Beechworth, Yackandandah and large regional centres Wangaratta and Wodonga. The roads are low traffic and there is some spectacular scenery and plenty of fresh air! Chiltern forest is 15kms from Rutherglen and is a popular place for mountain bike riding and bush walking. King Valley is a 40 minute drive and is famous for its cool climate wines and wineries.
