The Villa is located 'directly' behind the old Manor and both the Manor and the Villa were built circa 1895. The Villa was historically called the Servants Quarters and the Manor was called Hallscroft and then Glencraigie from the 1940's onwards.
The beautiful Yarra River is only 400 meters from our doorstep and the Warburton to Lilydale Rail trail is only 600 meters away whilst quirky cafes and markets that dot the Yarra Valley are a stones throw away. We have two bikes that can be used to ride the many bike trails in the area.
In Summer you can spend lazy days by the river, or you can cycle the smooth rail trail to visit the local area. Local wineries provide gourmet food and wine and the Warburton golf course is less than a 5 minute drive away.
The historic O’Shannessy Aqueduct trail, Melbourne’s former primary water source, sits behind the property and provides beautiful views down to the valley below, along with a great trail for hiking, cycling and exploring.
In Winter head to Mount Donna Buang (FREE!) for tobogganing and ski play. In Summer play in the beautiful and clean Yarra River, head to the great kids water park or go for a refreshing dip in the Lala Falls.
