A VERY SPECIAL GARDEN
A truly special treat. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and your hosts will be delighted to explain the gardens history. Ellis Stones and Eric Hammond both worked with Edna Walling to make Folly Farm a very special place. You will find all the signatures that are Walling including beautiful Silver birch.
ENGLISH SHEPHERDS HUT
Shepherds huts were designed to be home to the shepherd who could not afford to leave his flock for long. A warm place to nurture a sick baby lamb. These days, our shepherds Hut offers our guests a special vantage to enjoy the garden in all seasons. A beautiful daybed and fire add to the romantic ambiance. Designed and built by Robert at Folly Farm with traditional workmanship including amazing forged wheels made by a local, Hills, third generation blacksmith. Perfect for meditation or a romantic dinner….. maybe a proposal
Please note Folly Farm is closed during our blueberry harvest January and February and usually reopen by the Labor Day Weekend or mid March
