Wildflower Cottage is a charming 100 year old cottage situated on a quiet street off the main road. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place but close enough to walk to shops and cafes and the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens formally known as the National Rhododendron Gardens.
Filled with loads of character but with the modern lifestyle in mind, Wildflower Cottage has open plan living; featuring cathedral ceiling, whitewashed lining boards, antique pendant lights and furnished with vintage and new furniture.
Fully appointed kitchen with microwave and fridge and Bosch Dishwasher, oven and stove. Coffee pod machine, kettle and toaster also. Ample cooking utensils, plates cups, glasses and cutlery.
Smart TV, Blue-Ray DVD with a library of DVDs and wifi to keep everyone happy and connected while you are away. We have a Netflix account available for use at the cottage. Ipod dock with auxiliary input for smart phones.
Central heating and gas log fire. Air conditioner in the main bedroom for cooling the main bedroom only. Fans in other bedrooms.
Washing machine also available for guest use.
House sleeps up to 7 people: 2 Queen size beds, 2 king single beds and 1 single bed. We also have a portacot and highchair available on request.
Ample parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway.
Relax reading a book on the front porch while the children frolic in the 1/2 acre fully fenced mostly flat garden. Have a picnic in the backyard using the outdoor setting. Or take your time visiting all the amazing attractions of the Dandenong Ranges which includes Puffing Billy, The National Rhododendron Gardens, Sky High Lookout, Kalorama lookout, Sherbrooke forest and much more. Not to mention the cafes and gift shops in Olinda and Sassafras. So much to do - there is bound to be something to please everyone.
