Glenelg On King Bed and Breakfast offers you the opportunity to enjoy Albany and its surrounding attractions, whilst relaxing in the tranquil environment of a modern home with separate 1st class bed and breakfast facilities, accessed by a private entrance. Situated on the upper reaches of the King River, Glenelg on King B & B is just 14kms from the centre of Albany. Nestled on a country block on the edge of the city, there is abundant birdlife to be enjoyed as you walk through the large established gardens with beautiful water features, or along the bridle trail which follows the river. If you are nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, or just want to escape from the rush and stress of life, you will find the peace and quiet of our home perfect for your time away. Wake each morning to beautiful bird calls, or the distant sounds of sheep or cows, and then enjoy your breakfast on the deck overlooking the lily covered pond when the weather is mild. At the end of a day exploring Albanys many amazing tourist attractions, there is nothing more relaxing than a coffee or a glass of local wine on the deck, listening to the frogs serenading you, and watching the birds head back to their roosts in the trees along the river.
Features of the unit include a private entry into a sitting room, with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave, TV, DVD player, CD Player with an iPod dock, books, games, R/C air conditioner, and access to WiFi and the internet. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO KITCHEN FACILITY AVAILABLE FOR GUEST USE.
Two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the second with two King Single beds are serviced by one large bathroom and separate toilet/powder room. The bathroom has a large bath, shower and underfloor heating. The unit will perfectly suit a family of four, or two couples travelling together. Only one booking will be taken at a time as the bathroom is shared by both bedrooms. As there are many water features on the property, we are not able to accommodate families with young children, for safety reasons. There are alpacas in the paddock near the house, so we are not able to have guests dogs on the property. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
