The Nullaki Eco Retreat holiday home and property offers a wide range of family and pet friendly holiday activities. The spectacular Southern Ocean coastline, West Cape Howe National Park, The Nullaki Peninsula, Torbay and both Denmark and Albany are less that 20 and 30 minutes away. Nearby are some of Western Australia's most awarded wineries, restaurants and produce farms as well as the tall Karri Valley Of The Giants forest regions of Nornalup National Park and the popular Tree Top Walk near Walpole.
YOUR HOLIDAY HOUSE
The Nullaki features a large well equipped kitchen and generous family areas and comfortably sleeps up the eight guests. A large wood fired heater keeps this spacious house toasty warm in the cooler months. All bed, bathroom and kitchen linen including blankets and doonas are supplied as standard. A large outdoor deck allows sweeping views of the karri and peppermint forest which is home to a number of friendly possums that line up on their feeding station most evenings. They are easily tempted with a bit of fresh fruit, especially banana and will endure a tickle under the ear or a gentle pat for those.
An exciting range of holiday activities are available directly on the property. Bush walking, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching or just relaxing while soaking up the ambiance of this special place are popular activities. The house commands sweeping views of the Nenamup Inlet which laps the shoreline just twenty metres from the front door of the house. The abundant forest and aquatic bird life is truly spectacular and bird lovers will be in paradise. A quiet paddle in a kayak or canoe will introduce you to many species of water birds that inhabit the area including black swans, ducks, pelicans, spoonbills, egrets and ibises. The famous Bibbulmun Track is accessible year round and passes just a couple of kilometres down the road.
KAYAK AND CANOE HIRE:
We are pleased to offer hire kayaks and canoes for exclusive use on your own private inlet forming part of Wolfes Landing property. Two single seat and one two seat kayaks plus a two seat Canadian canoe are provided. All kayaks are state of the art, sturdy and safe and one is designed for fishing from as well. Safety equipment is supplied as standard. Please inquire about the other kayaking options and locations available the Wilson Inlet, Hay River and Hartmans Beach.
The fishing is superb and will suit all ages with a choice of ocean, beach, inlet and river venues to test your skill. Check out the photos in the image gallery. Big King George whiting, Black and Silver Bream and Pink Snapper can be caught from the bank of the Wilson Inlet. Boat and rock fishing is another dimension with big Sampson Fish, and Tuna year round and Salmon in season from Easter. We are only minutes from the ocean with a handy boat launching ramp just a few minutes drive down the road on the Wilson Inlet. If you book be sure to bring your fishing gear. If you prefer we can hire you a range of fishing tackle to suit the youngest beginner to the serious fisho at a very reasonable rate as well as all the local advice you need to get among the big ones. Basic beginner kits are available for only $10.00 per two day hire.
A large flat screen TV, media player and a Blue Ray DVD/CD system is supplied. Just bring your own USBs, CDs, DVDs or portable disc drive based movies and music.
HALF PRICE ACCOMMODATION
For your babies or toddlers if they sleep in a cot. We provide two porta-cots. Both cots have mattresses and liners but you will need to bring your own cot linen. Please advise us if your little one will need a cot using the guest comments section of your inquiry form.
We are pet friendly and pet owners and pets will revel in the ample grounds nearly 30 acres of open spaces and virgin native forest in which to explore and run. Please note that we only permit dogs that are adequately socialised to safely interact with with other dogs and people. Therefore prospective guests should note that this is an important consideration if you intend bringing your dog. These issues can be clarified prior to making a booking by contacting us direct where we are happy to advise you. We also have a secure and comfortable pet enclosure where you dog can be accommodated for up to a day if you need to visit a national park or restaurant during your stay.
A pet cleaning fee of $25/pet is required to be paid upon arrival. This is to offset the additional cleaning required after pet friendly stays.
SEASONAL ACCOMMODATION RATES
The base accommodation rate and cost per night vary throughout the year. We have four major rate schedules based on the WA school holidays times. Seasonal discounts and special offers may apply during Off Peak times.
Peak Rate: Minimum two persons and two night per stay includes all WA school holidays.
Off Peak Rate: Minimum two persons and two nights per stay comprised of all dates between the school holidays excepting public holiday long weekends.
Peak Xmas New Years Eve Rate: Minimum of two persons and three nights per stay from 23rd and 31st of December.
4. Easter Long Weekend Rate: Minimum of two persons and three nights per stay Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Public Holiday Weekend Rate: Minimum of two persons and three nights per stay Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The nightly rate displayed on our accommodation calendar is for the first two guests per night irrespective of the season. Additional guests will be charged at the appropriate Extra Person Rate which and that is always substantially lower than the minimum nightly rate.
