The *pet friendly Nullaki Eco Retreat holiday home is a luxuriously appointed, pet friendly, and spacious 2 bedroom house surrounded by a stunning native Karri and Peppermint forest. Located on the Nullaki Peninsula at Youngs Siding, this pet friendly gem is located just a few minutes drive from the beautiful Nullaki Wilderness Reserve and Anvil Beach. The abundant native fauna is sure to impress, especially the birdlife with Splendid Blue Wrens, Kookaburras, Firetail Finches, Magpies, Bush (Bronze Wing) Pidgeons and many more in permanent residence.
Kayak Hire: We now offer hire kayaks for use on your own private inlet which forms part of The Nullaki Eco Retreat. Two single seat and one two seat are provided. All kayaks are state of the art, sturdy and safe and one is a designed for fishing from as well. Safety equipment is supplied as standard. Please inquire about the other kayaking options and locations available (the Wilson Inlet, Hay River and Hartmans Beach).

Hand feed the friendly Brush Tailed Possums that line up each evening on the deck (see the pictures below). The kids will love it. The Nenamup Inlet borders the property for almost a kilometer and is home to over eighty species of water birds during spring and summer. Our back yard fire pit is popular with guests and is conveniently located in a lovely bush setting near the house. Nothing beats a warm up around a nice big outdoor wood fire during the cooler months, photos to be added soon.
The Nullaki Eco Retreat house has been custom designed with generous bedroom sizes and large living areas. The house boasts a beautiful elevated jarrah deck that forms part of the forest, truly an idyllic location to have a BBQ, a beer or wine and relax in comfort as you soak up the ambiance of this special place. The living room and master bedroom open directly onto the spacious outdoor deck area.
A large wood fire in the living room warms the entire indoors during the cooler months.
A large flat screen TV, Media Player and Blue Ray DVD/CD system is supplied. Just bring your own USBs, CDs, DVDs or portable disc drive based movies and music.
Nullaki Eco Retreat is located approximately half way between Albany and Denmark , being about 30 and 20 minutes drive away each. Beautiful beaches, wineries and restaurants are all close by and the Bibbulmun Track is just a couple of kilometers down the road.
The fishing is superb and will suit all ages with a choice of ocean, beach, inlet and river venues to test your skill. Check out the photos in the image gallery. Big King George whiting, Black and Silver Bream and Pink Snapper can be caught from the bank of the Wilson Inlet. Boat and rock fishing is another dimension with big Sampson Fish, and Tuna year round and Salmon in season from Easter. We are only minutes from the ocean with a handy boat launching ramp just a few minutes drive down the road on the Wilson Inlet. If you book be sure to bring your fishing gear. If you prefer we can hire you a range of fishing tackle to suit the youngest beginner to the serious fisho at a very reasonable rate as well as all the local advice you need to get among the big ones.
This is a quality holiday stay that is sure to impress. It has just recently been built and offered for family holiday rentals since 19th of December 2014. Inquire now as prospective guests are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
Discount For Babies & Toddlers
If you baby or toddler normally sleeps in a cot they will be accommodated for half the regular price. Please add details such as this in the guests comments section when making your inquiry. Two porta-cots are provided but you must bring your own cot linen.
SEASONAL ACCOMMODATION RATES
The base accommodation rate and cost per night per stay vary throughout the year. We have four major rate schedules based on the WA school holidays times. Seasonal discounts and special offers may apply during Off Peak times.
Peak Rate: Minimum two persons and two night per stay (includes all WA school holidays).
Off Peak Rate: Minimum two persons and two nights per stay (comprised of all dates between the school holidays excepting public holiday long weekends).
Peak (Xmas New Years Eve) Rate: Minimum of two persons and 3 nights per stay (from 23rd and 31st of December).
4. Easter Long Weekend Rate: Minimum of two persons and three nights per stay (Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Public Holiday Weekend Rate: Minimum of two persons and two nights per stay (Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The nightly rate displayed on our accommodation calendar is for the first two guests per night irrespective of the season. Additional guests will be charged at the appropriate Extra Person Rate which and that is always substantially lower than the minimum nightly rate. Please inquire further if you need any additional information.
The Nullaki Eco Retreat is ideally set out to cater for groups or families of up to eight. The dining/living area is large and roomy and features a big bright wall mounted flat screen TV, a stereo CD/DVD/Radio sound system, a dedicated DVD/CD player and a media player. These systems will accept all formats of media storage. Enjoy the ultimate entertainment experience and bring your own digital music and movies.
The huge elevated deck area overlooks a stunning native Karri and Peppermint forest. It is complete with an outdoor dining suite, a large BBQ and comfy sun lounges. Enjoy the experience of feeding the very friendly locals who usually come to visit and cadge a feed such as Brush Tailed Possums, Magpies, Kookaburras and parrots. A picnic bench with extra seating located at the forest edge right among the the blue wrens and fantails is an ideal place for quiet reflection. The large indigenous garden is quickly developing and now numbers more than 130 plants, mostly native to the region. There are a variety of kangaroo paws, Coreas, Westringa, native Hibiscus, Banksias, Hakeas, Edna Waling ground covers, Boronia, native Hibertias, tree climbing Climatis, Hardenbergia, Grevilleas and many more.
We are pet friendly and pet owners and pets will revel in the ample grounds (nearly 30 acres) of open spaces and virgin native forest in which to explore and run. Please note that we only permit dogs that are properly socialised to safely interact with with other dogs and people. Therefore prospective guests should take note that this is an important consideration if you intend bringing your dog.
