Karri Glade Chalets is located in a beautiful Karri Forest, midway between Nannup, Pemberton and Manjimup, in the Southwest of Western Australia.
Magnificent soaring Karri trees surround our farm, which is only a stone’s throw from the tranquil Donnelly river, Bibbulmun track and Munda Biddi Trail.
Due to our location we do not accept pets.
You will find us on Graphite road, a lovely drive from Nannup to Manjimup, that gently winds it way through orchards, mixed farms, vineyards and Karri forest.
There are no gravel roads to travel at night. We have bitumen frontage.
The nearest town is Manjimup, fifteen minutes of picturesque driving away.
We have two self contained chalets, with two bedrooms in each, overlooking the water, with a backdrop of majestic Karri forest.
Both are private and secluded .
From the espresso coffee machine in the kitchen, to the two person spa bath, they are designed with your comfort in mind.
The amazing Four Aces and historical One Tree Bridge are but a short stroll away. Glenoran pool, a popular fishing and picnic spot, is next door.
The Bibbulmun track follows the Donnelly River as it meanders through the forest, and the track crosses the river at One Tree Bridge.
The Munda Biddi bike trail also crosses the river here.
As the ideal base for you to walk the Bibbulman track or cycle the Munda Biddi trail, we are happy to drop you up or down the track for a half or full day walking.
Or maybe just stroll the river paths and local forest to discover the local flora and fauna that surround our farm.
Explore South West wineries and sample clean, green, Genuinely Southern produce that Manjimup is becoming well known for. Marron, trout, tasty dips, condiments, chestnuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, avocados, wine, beer and truffles to name a few. Plus, one of our favourite summer treats - fat, juicy, cherries.
Shop at the gourmet butcher for some local meats and produce to put on the BBQ or platter. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs. We provide cooking oil and a few basic condiments to help you.
There are excellent restaurants and cafes in Manjimup if you prefer a night out of the kitchen.
Enjoy a relaxing spa looking out over the farm and forest with a glass of bubbles. Rekindle the romance and forget the working world.
Bird watch from the balcony. Watch the wandering sheep, catch a trout for the evening BBQ or enjoy a gourmet platter.
On those chilly evenings, watch the kangaroos gather as the mist rolls out of the forest as you stay toasty warm in front of the fire.
