This lovely well-equipped beach house is an easy 1.5-hour drive south of Perth, Western Australia. Huge deck, stunning views, especially from upstairs bedroom/sitting room, which has an en suite and cute balcony. If you're on your way to, or coming back from, the Margaret River wine region, this is the perfect half-way stopover. Also close to the fabulous Ferguson Valley, which is part of the Geographe Wine Region.
Or simply stay put and enjoy a relaxing holiday by the sea. Only a few minutes walk to an unspoilt beach and miles of beach walking, tennis courts and to the general store, which stocks just about anything you could need, including petrol and a bottle shop. There is a cafe at the Binningup Caravan Park that does great coffee and breakfast and lunch most days.
Binningup Beach is protected by reef that runs parallel and is perfect for walking, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, easy beach fishing and boat launching. Common fish are flathead, herring, salmon, tailor and whiting and yellowfin. If you are a 4WD enthusiast then you have around 30km of beach that is easily accessible.
The Binningup Golf Club is a stunning, very well kept, 9-hole course, surrounded by native plants with ocean views.
Beds can be configured as 4 singles and 1 queen OR 2 singles, 1 king and 1 queen. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. All linen including towels not beach towels supplied — plus a basic pantry and little extras like beach umbrella, beach chairs and spare sunscreen. Binningup has a great 9-hole golf course and is surrounded by world-class courses in the area. There is also a public tennis court a couple of minutes walk away. On most nights you can hear the waves and on a clear night the stars are breathtaking. Great beach fishing and surfing and 4WD access to the beach.
Slow down, listen to the waves, swim a bit, take a walk, play some tennis, do some fishing or have a surf, maybe play a little golf or read a book on the deck, curled up on the daybed, feel like you're miles from anywhere.
Binningup is a quiet beach settlement, halfway between Perth and the Margaret River Wine Region. The beach is patrolled on Sundays between November and March. This property is 4 minutes walk to the general store and petrol bowsers and 5 mins walk to the beach. General store also does fish and chips and other take away food.
